Posted September 17, 200717 yr Britney Spears may have lost her lawyer and her manager, but she's keeping her kids. Mel Goldsman, an attorney at Freid and Goldsman, where Spears' new lawyer Marci Levine works, tells The Insider that yesterday's hearing affirmed Spears and Federline's joint custody agreement. This news comes despite new claims from a touted "mystery" witness, former Spears bodyguard Tony Barretto, that even after her February stint in rehab, Spears was using drugs. Barretto joins a long list of former Spears employees who may testify against her in the upcoming custody battle, from bodyguard Daimon Shippen to assistant Shannon Funk. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ It's official... Monday was one of the worst days Britney Spears has had in a long time, and she’s had some pretty bad ones recently. First, her lawyer quit. Then her manager dropped her. And, finally, the day ended for her with Fox News reporting that Spears will lose temporary custody of her two kids. The news network claims that the Los Angeles Family Court received new information over the weekend and based on that and all the info they already have, they will give full custody (albeit temporary) to KFed. The ruling is expected to be handed down shortly. From another source; The ruling giving K-Fed temporary custody of his and Brit’s kids is said to come from Los Angeles Family Court later Monday. Earlier in the day, Britney was dropped by her management, Jeff Kwatinetz of The Firm. He issued a statement saying, “It saddens us to confirm media reports that we have terminated our professional relationship with Britney Spears.” The Firm is reportedly is sick of Britney’s “recent erratic behavior.” Earlier Monday morning, Britney’s lawyer Laura Wasser bailed on her. September 18, 200717 yr Why have they forgotten that everything Britney is doing now is what Federline has been doing since the children were born? He was partying with strippers, going out getting drunk and getting high but when Britney does it suddenly it's bad? She needs to STOP digging herself into a deeper hole. Why can't she pretend that she's changed like he is? I'm not falling for his act. Stupid judge.
