Even though it's been widely reported by many media outlets that there is a Britney Spears press conference that is supposedly planned for today, Thursday.

 

Britney's publicist, Leslie Sloane-Zelnick, tells PerezHilton.com that no announcement is expected today and that any reports of a press conference are false.
