September 20, 200717 yr Its just a WASTE. Shame when there are many talented artists out there that will never get their music heard. SPOT ON. When Sony are refusing to release fantastic albums and failing to sign great new bands...... and there are many, many top class bands out there who will never get a record deal despite them being fantastic..... for Sony to then shell out so much cash on this absolute nonsense - sickening. Really, really sickening. But it certainly highlights all that is wrong in the music business these days.

Its meant to be fun, you know some people do like fun :o No one is saying they're the next bloody Mariah, they got offered a deal to sing there favourite song, they're hardly gonna turn it down, they're young girls who are up for a laugh and not boring old t**** :teresa: Seriously though, its meant to be taken light hearted lol, and if people wanna buy it then thats up to them ^_^

I, personally, didn't find them very funny, either. Did you? You missed my whole point... the point being, a major label like Sony are dismissing and ignoring brilliant new talent (hardly even looking for it these days) whilst ploughing crazy money into silly rubbish like this. Obscene. Agreed, this is even WORSE than the Cheeky Girls.... :puke2: And I really hate the "it's just a bit of fun" arguement... Yeah, well, so's getting pissed up with one of your mates down the Karaoke on a Saturday night and drunkenly going up and doing a "cover" of "Barbie Girl", barely even remembering the words... It might be fun at the time, but would anyone want to see that released as a single in the cold, sober light of day...?? I dont think so - this, to me, is exactly the same thing - and utter embarrassment.... Shame on Sony, but then, they're rather shame-less aren't they...?
