Will at the Women's Aid Act Campaign Dinner, UK

 

This week sees Will Young performing at a very special but unfortunately for fans, private event hosted by Gordon and Tana Ramsay.

 

Will is providing the entertainment at a dinner at Berkeley Square for the Women's Aid ACT campaign on Thursday 20th September 2007. As you know, Will is a Women's Aid Ambassador.

 

Guests rumoured to be at the event include Trinny Woodall, Kelly Hoppen, Greg Rudeski, Rebekah Wade, Neil Fox, Fay Ripley, Miquita Oliver, Jon Snow, Lisa Aziz and Nicky Clarke who will be among 350 VIPs, celebrities and survivors of domestic violence. Other entertainment is provided by Jamie Cullum.

 

The evening raises vital funds for the charity and includes an A-list auction of once-in-a-lifetime prizes.

It's the first gala dinner ever to be held for ACT, the new campaign for Women's Aid, and was launched earlier this year with a series of celebrity adverts taken by the world famous photographer Rankin, although the charity been working to end domestic violence against women and children for over 30 years.

As you know, last night Will dined with 15 of his fans who won this amazing prize via this very website!

 

He wanted us to say thank you to everyone who made the effort to come down. He really loved meeting you all.

 

We'll be hosting footage of the event here on the site so you can see what it was like but in the meantime, 'Willudabest' has already posted about the event in the forum, with more sure to follow...
