September 23, 200717 yr Could you imagine how many people will go to see Stardust when it comes out ? If only 10% of them but it, Take That will easily outsell Leona and probably stay at number one for several weeks.... isn't the spice girls song out the week after?
September 23, 200717 yr isn't the spice girls song out the week after? Their song is old, so i am not sure.
September 23, 200717 yr Spice Girls and Westlife are apparently out the week after. If Leona is gonna be appearing on Westlife, then you can bet your dog's bottom dollar that Westlife will be and they'll want to be #1. Whoever gets out to #1 out of Leona, McFly or Take That will only have 1 week at #1. Who knows, something might even beat the 3 of them on downloads alone, unlikely but entirely possible.

Stardust hasn't done too well at the box office in the USA considering how much it cost to make so I'm not so sure it will be that big over here either The TT song is quite good but the power of X Factor will no doubt beat it

Westlife shouldn't even be in the frame for no1 with such a dreadful masssacre of Buble's Home.

I really wonder why would an Xfactor apperance help Leona or Westlife to gain a number one. I mean, i'd rather go to check their songs on youtube, but there's no way i'd buy it. I actually doubt alot of people would want to buy her single.
September 23, 200717 yr It could end up being the same chart as xmas week or if mcfly go to number 1 they could be knocked off by westlife like the same time last oct Hopefully the spice girls will beat westlife how many number 1's would westlife have if this one tops the chart? I think mcfly will chart at 3 and fall slower then they have lately
September 23, 200717 yr will beat westlife Westlife had their number ones before the change of the chart rules. I think the digital sales for them will be pretty law. So, i guess they could forget about number one this time especially with the much stronger rivals.

September 23, 200717 yr westlife have higher sales then mcfly and Mcfly can still manage number 1 Mcfly always put their release dates when there's almost no competition. It used to be a very smart tactical manoeuvre. This time is an exception. But i dont see Mcfly at number one even with a huuuuge promo.
September 23, 200717 yr Were the download rules not in when Pesthite released their last single? I thought they were and it still got to #1 :puke2:

But i dont see Mcfly at number one even with a huuuuge promo. Star Girl was released the same week as Girls Aloud's SKO which had a very good reception and it still got to #1. They're releasing their new single in the same week they released Star Girl last year [half-term] which is a very smart move by them. I still think they're the dark horses in this race.

September 24, 200717 yr But hey look, it's just become a 4-way battle. Oasis release download-only single Monday, September 24 2007, 11:50 BST Digitalspy.com By Alex Fletcher Oasis will release their first ever download-only single 'Lord Don't Slow Me Down' next month. Available on October 21, the exclusive tune will come with a pair of live tracks from the band's 2005 concerts at the City of Manchester Stadium. Fans can buy the single from Oasisinet.com and a video for the track will be premiered on YouTube on October 1. The single is taken from the Manchester rockers' brand new tour documentary, which has the same title as the single, which traced the 'Roll With It' band's antics on their 2005/6 world tour. The documentary DVD will be released a week later on October 29.
September 24, 200717 yr meh, Oasis are such has-beens, I havent liked a single song by them since the 90s.
September 25, 200717 yr Leona  It's the 4th release off the Take That album, so it comes down to Leona vs. McFly...erm, obviously Leona
September 25, 200717 yr It's the 4th release off the Take That album Its actually a brand new song and its the main theme for the movie 'Stadust' with Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfiffer.
September 25, 200717 yr What brilliant news :w00t: Lord Don't Slow Me Down is a bloody amazing song, and is by far one of Oasis's best songs in a decade. Up there with the Importance Of Being Idol. Such a storming rock anthem that would be just amazing live. I am very pleased it's getting released as it was far too good to be ignored, but seeing as it's only download, then it will still hopefully go top 5 like all of their singles have for the past 13 years. ^_^ It should've been on their Greatest Hits album, seeing as it most likely won't make their new studio album. -_-
September 25, 200717 yr Oasis are sh*t these days...I haven't liked any Oasis material since the 90's
