i read in the biz in the sun that madonn'a new album is not going to be released the same time as kylie,madonna has put her album back until early next year,the sun reckon its to avoid a clash with kylie as kylie is a sure fire number 1,im glad they arent clashing as the media would turn it into a big kylie vs madonna thing

Kylie would have done so much better anyway, Madonna's latest song is terrible

I haven't heard Madonna's latest song, you'd never know who'd win but I'm glad there won't be a clash but if there was obviously I would like Kylie to win.

well i knew it wasnt all down to a kylie clash i wasnt that naive and as i said im glad they aint clashing as the press would just play them of against each other

Lets be honest guys. Madonna would have won. Obv I love Kylie but Madonna always does well with her albums no matter what the first single is

I have a feeling Madonna's new material is going to be exceptionally poor after the wonderfulness that was the Confessions era. :(

To be honest I have all madonna albums and in my opinion I think they generally average. She knows how to pick brilliant singles but the rest of the album is quite average. Ive always thought of her as a stronger singles artist. The only recent album where I loved generally every track was Ray of light

im not a huge madonna fan but i bought ray of light and confessions on a dancefloor and i agree singles re good but album tracks are nothing special, madonna is def a singles person and i bought her greatest hits, i would never buy another madonna studio album again i must admit, i will wait for gretest hits 3

I only own Ray Of Light and Confessions aswell as The Immaculate Collection, I liked them both but I have no interest in buying any more Madonna albums except maybe Music.

 

I heard American Life in full and that was a painful experience I don't wish to repeat. :(

I own Confessions and absolutely worship it; definitely a career best for her. American Life is patchy and mellow but on the whole good. Music is poor and Ray Of Light is, I find, absolutely awful. :lol: But she's getting better with each album so I have high hopes. Candy Shop / Beat Goes On are only demos that wont be singles OR album tracks.

lol yes I think she is getting a lot worse over the last 4 albums. Confessions was better than the last 2 though

ray of light was a good album and so were the singles,confessions album wasnt great at all, hung up was good but follow up singles were disappointing

I disagree there. I think the Confessions album had much more to offer than the Abba sampled track which for me was only good briefly for the addictive factor.

Hung Up was one of my least favourites on the album. :lol:

sorry was quite good but in general i was very disappointed with the confessions album

Jump and I Love New York were my two favourites, ILNY gets lots of stick though. :(
