All Saints have announced at a press conference last Thursday that they are recording a new album.Melanie, Nicole & Natalie showed out in guite diffirent look that we have got used to.Three girls said that they have been preparing for a new album for quite of some time. There was no statement over any new label that they would be recording the album or what are the near future-plans.They will be annoucing more stuff later on and like to thank the fans that keep on loving the girls after their latest album "Studio 1" and last single "Chick Fit" failed to reach the succes and flopped. On the other hand, first single from the album "Rock Steady" was Top 3 Hit in UK and was succesful in Europe

Who's gonna release another AS album after the huge flop of their latest effort ? :o

I hope they do, Studio 1 was much better than it was given credit for...

I saw them live last November on probably one of their only comeback performances and they were absolutely great

I am glad to hear the are contınuıng. The last album underperformed despıte the fırst sıngle beıng brıllıant.

That's really brave of them after their comeback album famously flopped spectacularly (although undeserved).

I hope they can do well with it, but chances are beyond slim I think. I think they should have another stab at it another few years down the line.

They should try and get their old sound back.

No. A lot of fans cite Studio 1 as their fave AS album, it's the timing and promo that were all wrong. Material-wise it couldn't be stronger.

A lot of people on forums that have listened to the album share the same opinion as me; that they prefer their old sound.

Promo was good for them (or at least it was for "Rock Steady" and their album).

It wasn't good for the album in the slightest. Rock Steady was promoted heavily but it was a new sound for them and to launch the album with it was silly; they should have launched it along with the second single. Plus, in most of the promo spots etc the release of the album didn't even get a mention.
"Studio 1" was one of the most heavily marketed and well promoted albums of last year. There were ads on billboards all over London, they girls switched on the Oxford Street Christmas Lights, they had a half hour channel 4 show dedicated to them, they appeared on pretty much every music programme going, there were adverts in lots of magazines, "Rock Steady" was on the A-list at both Radio 1 and Radio 2, they played several live gigs including their hugely publicised reunion concert at the Shepards Bush Pavillion, etc, etc.

I hope this is true like.

Chick Fit was an amazing song and deserved top 20 status.

I totally agree. Studio 1 is an amazing album. Such a shame it flopped so hard.

^^ Nah, I don't think so. They just announced they'd be working on new material is all.
