well her voice lost some power after cancer but, i don't think there something different from her voice during for example the lal and now. i think only this wasn't the right song 4 her, and those high notes too.she CAN do high notes and we know that but those where really strange, singed by ann wilson too...so i don't think ana has smt strange or her voice...i think the song itself and the notes put together in that way are strange!

exactly, I didn't like the song at all, it sounded weird to me.

Tbh when compared to Fergie, Ana's and her vocal style (not the growl) is quite similar, especially on Ana's verse. Ana's voice is more powerfull, but Fergie has more controll.

Fergie more control? Fergie from bep? omg that girl sucks in live performances! i really don't like her. she had a really great great voice but she can't sing live! look for example during the lady d concert... :blink:

:lol: The Diana Concert was a complete muck up. Something went REALLY wrong there, but there are other performances and she sounds amazing (I'll post one of Finally maybe). When she's with the BEP's she sounds awful, but on her own she's great.

I'll also try and find a link of Fergie's version of Barracuda, she has total controll over the high notes, just not the power Ana has.

well i think it's almost normal that people who have less power have more control cuz they don't have to do many efforts. ana has more power in her voice and so it's more difficult.

 

however i still think ana did a great performance only the song wasn't the right for her and it sucked!

Yup. ^ The song IS a good song, but not a right choice for Ana.

She covers Aerosmith, Bee Gee's and Aretha Franklin the best.

no i agree LOL...well after the pause period it think it's normal...she will come back with the new album at her best, i'm sure.. and then everything will return the same! 2008 will be ana's year!
