Thanks. I see one of the poster seems to think it will be Invincible II. I seriously hope not as I am sick of that type of music these days. I want MJ to return with something really fresh that has the trademark MJ sound to it. I really hope for music with instruments and get back to basics more than computerized stuff :lol:

I don't agree. The classic MJ sound is amazing Pop/Dance music, with the occasional rock song. HiStory, even was not very R&B at all. Dangerous was you could argue, but overall a great mix, with loads of great pop/rock songs as well. With Invicible, it was far too overly R&B and computerized type of beats imo. Don't get me wrong, I really like the album, but it is missing that rawness of his previous albums. It far too over-produced and polished. This is probebly due to the fact it has such a huge amount of producers and co-writers. MJ works so well when he writes songs alone imo. The charts are completelly full of R&B US c**p these days, so I hope MJ can come back with something really fresh, original and amazing. The lead single needs to be just brilliant, if not then he is in trouble. I do think after so many years working on it, that he will come up with some classic tracks. Hopefully anyway :D

for me, dangerous, history and invincible were all roughly the same style of music, just each album got more slick and polished.

 

i have a feeling that the new album will be the same.

 

but with a few slower ballads, a masive anthem and a rock song.

 

i love history and invincible, so i hope that he continues this style!

Well, My Favoruite Michael Album is the most underrated Album, Invincible, you really have to listen to it a few times to understand its Brilliance :)

 

As for his New album, The letter Michael sent out hints even more towards it.

 

Will.I.Am has worked on some tracks with Michael, one apparently called "Im Still The King" and doesnt know weather any will be on his album, though Will Is back in the studio next month with michael.

 

Simon Cowell In a recent interview has said Michael Will be on the Xfactor, it was an article Posted on the MJNO forum :)

 

And as for the style, Will said it would be an Off The Wall Sound, I quite like that, hell Id like just music from the man, but I would love to see him go back to the Brilliance and Creativness of Dangerous :)
