Does anyone else think that it would be wise for Brit to push back the album?

 

I think her health is a whole lot more important -_- she has big problems going on and she isn't going to be able to promote, I know its too late for Gimme More, but I think she should release that and it will do well ^_^ then don't release the album until after the 2nd single, whenever that will be.

 

I would rather her never release a record again to make sure that shes okay and deals with all the problems.

I'm not so worried about her health, as I think she's fine tbh, but certainly the competition is not good. Alicia, Celine, Kylie, Mariah - she'd be in very dangerous teritory! Best to leave it til January I think. ^_^

On what evidence? All I've seen is a pic of her crying leaving her lawyers', which is understandable. :lol:

There's no point giving time if it's for a 'mental comeback' -_- She's not going to magically be perfectly sane within months (if you see her as not sane atm), that takes YEARS.

That's what im saying, I would rather her take a whole year off and then release an album, theres no point in just releasing one for the sake of it when shes not gonna promote or nothing, and I agree with Dan she should just spend some time with her kids doing normal things, but she can't even do that :rolleyes:

I personally think she should get herself together, but if she can do that by november then she should go ahead with it, If she does push the release back quite a while then I would suggest to release a different 1st single or people will be bored of it. anyways id rather her not push it back, coz im excited lol

She could take a break, but unless she's truly ready for a fresh start, it won't make a difference. Plus judging by how nervous she looked at the VMAs, the longer she leaves it, the harder it will be to come back at all. People get replaced so easily these days and after every episode, another fan is left bewildered and wondering why we're bothered and she's not. Eventually she'll have little or none left.

yeah, she needs to concentrate on sorting her life out and getting herself better before she even thinks about releasing anything

I dont think Britney even needs to do promotion. The video for Gimme More and all the hype around it will be enough to sell loads on iTunes. All of her studio albums have gone to no. 1 and her competition in her week is Celine Dion and I dont think her past few albums debuted at 1, did they?

No. everythings already been started so she must of thought shes ready to come back.......so let her go ahead i say! :D

She should push it back, but only until early December. It's not like the girl has to do much for this album, she has already written and recorded all of the songs, has submitted the dates to BB, and has released the first single (which is doing VERY well). All she has to do is like two primetime interviews (USA and UK, which would take all of two days), one DECENT performance, and release a video (which has already been recorded). Not to mention that Jive will put ads in magazines and on the tv for the album!

 

We do not know if she is mentally ill or not, and I will not be brainwashed by the media. OKAY so she is going through a rebellious stage, does that mean pull out the straight jackets? She is stressed right now, but I think her stress has peaked. But, I would not be mad if she postponed the release, but I doubt she will.

I'll go with no - as I said in the other topic, I think success and for something to finally go RIGHT in her life, would do her so much good personally.

 

As someone already said, the longer she leaves it, the harder it'll be for her emotionally to come back - if she does it now and it works out, it could really change her whole life around.

No, I seriously think it's been long enough. No one knows if her life will be much better anytime later on so what's the point. It seems like a good time of the year for a release too. Her single is already huge and she has lots of publicity even if it's not all that positive. The bad publicity doesn't mean that everyone is just going to think the album is bad too. If it's great (and it should be from what we keep hearing) then all should be well. Even if she doesn't get tons of promotion in I still think it'll be huge as it's her comeback album. Her child custody case is fine at least for now and I doubt she's going to jail for her recent charges. Probably and hopefully she just ends up with a fine!

On one hand... yes she should wait, too much competition, but alicia's album has been moved up i think to nov 6, at least thats what website are sayin

 

but another hand....HELL NO! ive been waiting for a new britney album for waaaaayyyyy toooo long. :w00t:

 

 

she has been having problems but all we can do is hope she comes out of it ok. :cry: :D
