Posted September 24, 200717 yr Dear Fans, I have felt compelled to come on here and let you guys know the truth. As you all should know, I am an extremely outspoken individual and will say it like it is. But one thing you should know for sure is that I'm not unnecessarily bitchy. Yes, I say things that are close to the bone, but I never have or will say disgusting things about people without just cause. Which brings me on to a recent "interview" I had with 'The Poor Man's Eva Simpson' - Dominique Hines of the Star Magazine. In the interview, I was asked a series of ill thought out questions, most of which were to lure me into saying headline making comments about other celebs. Yes, to some of those questions I made some bitchy comments - none of which were about Leona Lewis. This 'journalist' wasn't happy with me being nice about Leona, so she had to make **** up so her piece was more interesting & so it could then be regurgitated in the tabloids as gospel. Well I was going to sit back and do nothing, but she did the same thing to me the last time and I'm not standing for it. Certain people in the media find it hard to write a nice, positive story. Certain people are not content with artists showing each other love and appreciation. Some people are afraid that an artist thinks it's okay to co-exist in the music industry. Some people are only happy when cross words are fired. Well **** it, it's so not gonna happen. The facts are, I think Leona is amazingly talented. I don't understand why she didn't have a record deal already. I think Simon made the right choice and I don't think I even have to say it, but it's obvious she will be enjoying success for years to come and i will be buying all of her material! I don't dislike her. In all honesty I don't even know her, but iI do know talent when i see it. This is not a retraction of any statement. This is what was not printed. What WAS printed is also known as bullsh*t. Its amazing how it's so easy for some journalists to just make **** up. This girl just invented so many "quotes". We've asked her to produce the tape & now she's vanished off the face of the earth - go figure! usually I leave it and don't react, but it really p*sses me off. They're pathetic. Not all of them, but some. Yes, I'm very angry and I apologise to my fans for my language. But sometimes, you just gotta get dirty! Hope you're all doing well. Love to you all. I'll speak with you soon x x x x x x kisses x x x x J x x x x x x
September 24, 200717 yr Awwww :( Poor J, I'd go round to the journalists home and throw a brick at her -_-
September 24, 200717 yr The same idiot wrote the same bull$h!t again. Almost a year after. Who'd have thought? She should be prepared for another one next year. If I was J, I'd go & deliver a 13 minute ass-whooping to that journalist.
September 25, 200717 yr I sent an email to ContactMusic asking them to write a short piece saying the TRUTH about what really went on with Leona Lewis & J's comments and they did it! :D British pop star JAMELIA has written an open letter to fans accusing a magazine journalist of fabricating her attack on talent show winner LEONA LEWIS. The Dreams hitmaker was quoted in Star magazine describing X-Factor star Lewis as a "poor man's Mariah Carey" as well as slamming Lewis' mentor Simon Cowell. But Jamelia claims Star reporter Dominique Hines made up the quotes. The singer writes, "As you all should know, I am an extremely outspoken individual and will say it like it is. But one thing you should know for sure is that I'm not unnecessarily bitchy. Yes, I say things that are close to the bone, but I never have or will say disgusting things about people without just cause. "Which brings me on to a recent "interview" I had with Dominique Hines of the Star Magazine. In the interview, I was asked a series of ill thought out questions, most of which were to lure me into saying headline making comments about other celebs. Well I was going to sit back and do nothing, but she did the same thing to me the last time and I'm not standing for it." Instead Jamelia declares Lewis, 21, "amazingly talented" and insists music mogul Cowell made the right choice giving her a record deal. http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/artic...%20rant_1044742
