For me its the second option. B2Bs is a great album but the promoition, release's were very poorly planned.

i didnt really like this album, much perferred the stripped album so yeah it was a let down, some of the songs were catchy and the videos she did was good, but if it was christina then i wouldnt have brought it
I think it was the singles, although I loved Ain't No Other Man, I think that if she had released Candyman first, it would have definately been number one and boosted the album sales, next Hurt was a good choice, but they left it way to long, instead of it being released towards the end of November, they should have gone for late September instead, therefore, just as the album would be sliding down the chart, Hurt would have sparked more interest in it, and sold lots, then the third single should have been Slow Down Baby, around January and then Ain't No Other Man, around April/May and then finally Oh Mother for a July release, if they had done that, then the album would have been in the spotlight an awful lot more, and more frequently, as I loved the album, but it really underperformed in my eyes :(
It's the second option for me too, too bad they messed this up

Personally I Adore the album, I think the only problem was the promotion/releasing singles things got a bit messed up, for eg - candyman should have been properly released, and a 4th single should have also been released.
i think B2B had the potential but i think the releases were everywhere. wasnt properly put together or well thought out. Hurt had so much potential in the charts and look how that done -_-
Jazz is one of my top genres. It was all amazing.

I think the music was great. But the label didn't promote or anything and they messed it up sadly. :(

I went for the second option.

I absolutely loved evertyhing from this era.

I went for the first

the album was nothing compared to Stripped

and i just thought it was a huge let down

I would say its not a bad album with potential but apart from the first single the rest underperformed and the album sold poorly in comparison to the last one.

One big mistake was not releasing "Candyman"?
  • 1 month later...
It's certainly no Stripped but ya know...it's not exactly BAD is it? Christina and the word 'bad' just don't go..
