Two 'EastEnders' actors quit soap

Walford actors Rob Kazinsky and Mo George have quit their respective EastEnders roles.

Kazinksy – who first appeared as Albert Square's Sean Slater in August last year – has reportedly been taken on by Brad Pitt's agent who has high hopes for him in Hollywood.

A source told The Sun: "He's desperate to be a Hollywood star. He's ambitious, which Americans love, and easy on the eye – the first thing that Hollywood producers look at."

The 24-year-old actor will remain filming at the soap's Elstree home until October, continuing on-screen until the end of the year. The fate of his character has yet to be decided.

Meanwhile, Mo George – who has played market sweeper Gus Smith since 2002 – has agreed to bow out of the BBC soap by "mutual consent".

Of his exit, a BBC spokeswoman said: "As the character did not have any big plots coming up it was agreed Mohammed would leave. He is in talks with the BBC about other projects."

Both actors were suspended from the show for two months in the early part of last year – Kazinsky for sending lewd text messages to a model and George over suspicion of causing actual bodily harm to partner Emma Archibald.

TBH, honest Gus has been deadwood since 2005, his exit was inevitable at some point.

Though i'm surprised Rob Kazinsky's quitting after only 1/2 years, but his exit could be interesting...either a drwan out death scene or one of those rubbish exit by tube/taxi

Both I'm not sorry to see the back of.

Gus has been deadwood for years as you said and Sean is a terrible actor, he'll get nowhere in Hollywood.

Sean going? :(! Still he could make it. Michelle Ryan has, and god knows, she was always poor in EE.

OMG DOT. They should go pick on someone else, the t****.

And that gay guy is so annoying. Why can't they have a NORMAL gay bloke like John Paul in Hollyoaks? I'm fed up of all the soaps always rehashing these gay stereotypes like Sean in Corrie and now Christian.

Thirdly, that postman guy is the WORST postman in the world. All he does is run around the Square talking to people.

Not suprising to see Rob Kazinsky go. I've not seen much of him in Eastenders, but in Dream Team he wasn't the best actor in the world, but he's a likeable factor about him. He reminds me of a British version of Josh Holloway [players Sawyer in Lost].

Christian is a good character.

 I've been waiting for Gus to go for ages now always wondered why he was there.

As for Dot  how mean.

I felt so sorry for dot the fear was awful

yes i never knew how gus managed to stay around so long as he never was an important charactor

Sean going? :(! Still he could make it. Michelle Ryan has, and god knows, she was always poor in EE.

Michelle has flopped in the states, its been confirmed the Bionic Woman has been dropped after 10 episodes, due to the actors strikes :o

Poor Dot indeed. Someone needs to sort that Gang out. She should get Phil, Seana nd Jack to scar them off.

On Thursday, the entire EE episode will consist of just Dot in hear living room talking apperntly. Apperently June cried when watching it back so it must be going to be good. She is a great acctress for comedy obviously, but also for dramatic scenes so it will be good I suspect.
