nonsense!..... he often slags off the females when they deserve it, but most of the time its the feckless males that are cheating on their doe-eyed female partners. he didnt hold back on todays show against a woman.

yes it is trivia, these people act like that with our without kyle.

 

some of you talk as if theres violence on every show by every participant, thats just not the case. very very few cases do people actually commit assult, it usually (when it occurs) is nothing more then a tusstle.

 

 

Murder is not a trivial matter though Rob, and the facts are that had that particular show NOT been made, the person who was killed would more than likely still be alive.. This is not some esoteric, theoretical argument about "does movie violence spill over into real life..?", this is an actual cause and effect as a direct consequence of that show... Same with this assault case also... People like Kyle, Jerry Springer, Maury Povich, etc, DELIBERATELY and PREMEDITATIVELY set up certain conditions and hype up certain situtuations in order to create a conflict, just because it makes "good telly" for a bunch of pathetic voyeurs who get off on some other person's misfortunes....

oh i am, i just dont agree with the conclusions that you as a 'non viewer' reach :).

 

i unashamedly watch the show and i know its trash, but it does relate to real life and like big brother, i like people watching. theres no comparison between kyle and springer/lake et al who i detest.

I am a regular watcher I have to admit. :lol: It's always on when Im comming home from school, and my mum always watches it. -_- So I've watched it loads of times.

 

It's just as pointless as any other type of shows like this. Humiliate people on public tv, rant off without direcing the problem, if these people had any common sense they would sort it out themselves.

 

HOWEVER he does do a good job when he is praising someone for once (i.e. there was a girl who stood by next to her shot friend/boyfriend and she's had greif from people from the last few months) and it's stuff like that, true hardcore stories that make it worth watching.

Agreed. I think it pretty ridiculous to put this show into the same catagoy as lets say, Jerry Springer. Kyle, like him or not, tries to sort these people out, and if he can't, his team do. While with Springer, it is just a circus with massively obsese women pole dancing naked and the audience barking at them and so on. Just an absolutely insane program. <_<

I think Jeremey Kyle talks sense sometimes and does genuinely want to help people. But I saw a bit of an episode last week where some woman was saying her boyfriend won’t let her sleep with her hands under the covers because he’s so paranoid and thinks she’s playing with herself! THIS is the kind of thing they show at breakfast time? ITV should be blamed.

I think Jeremey Kyle talks sense sometimes and does genuinely want to help people. But I saw a bit of an episode last week where some woman was saying her boyfriend won’t let her sleep with her hands under the covers because he’s so paranoid and thinks she’s playing with herself! todays show was rather sad though.... that ex medical bloke from the army who couldnt deal with all the horrific sights he saw in kosovo, i really hoped he would pull through but he didnt, yet another casualty of that war :(

I find Jeremy to be one of the most knuckle clenching guys in the universe. Okay, some guest's can be a right pain in the arse, but the way he overreacts and hams it up, really makes me think he is no better then the others.

 

He sometimes belittles people, and if the guest is willing to change, then Jeremy should at least be understanding, or try to be. It's quite pathetic that the show is as popular as it is. Thier's being a chatshow host and theres being an overbearing idiot.

 

That said, It is great entertainment and a great hangover cure.

i think he is VERY understanding to people who are in need of it, but he doesnt suffer fools, liars, idiots or irresposable scum, lighty. why should he? he tells it like it is, to idiots who need it said.
