Can you all help me a little please? I'm writing a Norwegian essay and I'm really stuck! I have to write about that our expenditure is high, but not as high as in the US. Why do young ppl buy so much expensive stuff and what are my thoughts on it?

Pleease give me some ideas everyone!!

I've done something similar on the subject,

Young people will spend more money because they want and need it for things like, Clothes, Makeup, Going Out/Clubbing.

Most adults will only want money to pay for the food shopping.

 

I suppose America's is high because they're a more MEDC (?) Country, one of the most developed countries in the world and just have more stuff/more to do. etc.
