Hi i just thgought it would be interesting to hear how yall became a take that fan and what was it that attracted you to them in the first place and how you felt when they splittd up in 1996 and how you reacted when they reunited fro a greatest hits tour and album.

And a brand new album in 06

I became a take that fan i think somewtime in 1993 after seeing the video fro "Pray" i soooo loved that song

and still do the song and the video is a classic gfary became my fave and i actually gets chills down my spine when i listen to that song today its just sooo good.

I just loved their music a videos thats and gary barlows talend is what attracted me to them

And still attracts me toi them.

When take that splitted up in 1996 i blamed a fomer member of take that for sthe split

and i absolutely hated how he slagged off gary barlow and i couldn't stand how that former members career just sky rocked after angels came out.I could stand hearing or seeing him on tv or radio or watch any of his sold out concerts.I was sooooo jelous.

And no i dont have any serious issues what so ,its just that i never thought take that would ever split and i was enjoying their music

alot and then they disbanded and you cant tell me it wasn't hat certain member who started the split up of take that can you??

it was obvious what would happen next but i didn't want to see it it :(

I was over the moon when i heard take that was coming back again and thisng only got better when they announced a new studio album and wow what a succesfull comeback they've had im soo happy for them.

Well I only got into them last year when my niece talked her mum (my sister) and me into joining her and some friends in watching a concert at the MEN in May. To be honest up until that moment I could have taken or left them. Having now seen a Take That concert (which isn't just a music concert - its more of a theatrical experience) I can't get enough of them.

I had of course heard of them the first time (and I really liked Pray, Back for Good and Never Forget) but I wasn't really into them. I was more into films, pub quizzes, getting legless on work nights out, etc. So it was only the For The Record documentary and the MEN concert that got me into them. So really .... I only know them as a four piece band ... and I really like this sound they have now. I'm going to see them in two weeks in Belfast and I cannot wait!

So in a way .... I'm glad what happened all those years ago happened. It only makes this 'comeback' such a surreal event. It is really unbelievable but couldn't happen to four nicer blokes.

i became a fan when i heard it only take a minute i really liked it and bought the single,i didnt like i found heaven but then when i heard a million love songs i bought the album take that and party which i liked and then i bought all the albums after that
ooop when I saw i found heaven and crazy robbie there back in 1992 or 93 on supper channel

I'm similar to KathyP. Went to see them at Wembley out of curiosity last year. It helped that I managed to get a seat very close to the front, but they were amazing.

After that I dragged my sister out to Milton Keynes to see them again. And now hoping to see them at 02 in December :)

A late Take That developer then eh! What did your sister think of them?

Probably through buying Smash Hits magazine, when I was in Primary School.....so quite young, at least 10/11 possibly younger than that. Bought all the Take That videos, cassettes, and I had all the dolls, a TT clock, books, my sister and I even had Take That duvet covers!!!

Only got to see them live for the first time last year, but it was amazing!!! :cheer: I couldn't get tickets for this time round :(

Best Boy/Man Band in the world!!

I bought the most famous european youth magazine BRAVO in 1995 (spring) and on the users chart back for good was #1 for many weeks and i asked my cousin if she would know that song, and she answered that she loves it and that Take That is a great band, so i bought the single (back for good) and i bought the album nobody else. So i became a fan in 1995 with Back for good and I never stop being a fan.. in 2005 i bought never forget the ultimate hits and in 2006 i bought the great beautiful world album and their tour dvd!

I was never a Take That fan, but then was impressed with Gary Barlow's first Solo single, Forever Love. It was exactly the song I would like to write (if I had any talent).

From then I followed the Take That solo careers. Liked what Mark Owen did and classic Robbie including his swing album, but not his later stuff.

Obviously disappointed Gary Barlow lost his way, but would never have imagined there would be a Take That comeback and it would so so successful.

To be honest I was a bit too old to be a Take That fan first time around. and I was a bit embarrassed about liking them at the time. It was only after becoming such a huge fan of Robbie as a solo star that I began to realise how much I had really liked Take That, and I dug out all my old videos and CDs around the time Rob brought Markie on stage at Knebworth (I was there :cheer: ) which I honestly think was the first move towards the Take That reunion.

I then saw them at Wembley last year and I was totally blown away by them - I have tickets for 30 November and 1 December on this tour, and it's the first time that I have ever gone to see anybody 2 nights in a row other than Robbie - I can't wait.
