They still picked Leona because they knew she'd sell them records! And you can't deny Shayne's failed to do that either...

I only watched it last night (Saturday) and I thought with the exception of about three people the rest were pure and utter rubbish. Do you think they've deliberately let it slip this much because they honestly want to wind the whole thing up (I mean - we already know that the early stages - the best - or most 'entertaining' - are 'set ups' anyway).

 

The only ones I thought had a glimmer of hope were (and I apologise - they are all so forgettable - I cannot bring to mind any names).

 

The youngest girl from the 14 - 24 year olds (dead straight hair and I think she's a northern lass)

The bloke from the over 25's who wore the Norman Wisdom cap (he forgot his words to the Cat Stevens song - but he does have something 'folky' about him that I like)

And just maybe the girl from Birmingham (the one who's dad died - but even now - she's starting to sound a bit 'samey' with her selection of songs).

 

Did any of those three go through?

The judges made some really $h!t decisions this year in my opinion.

 

Honestly there's lots of 2nd rate acts this year that I cannot see in a million years winning. I thought Sharon made the biggest mistakes with the girls though, there was loads of potential in that group but she put through some of the wrong people in my opinion.

Every year (well this is the third) I've known a rival Reality TV programme where fans of it on it's forum get behind a rubbish/daft act on X-Factor to support (previously Chico & the McDonald Bros) for a bit of a laugh.

 

I'm sure fans of X Factor do the same. :lol:

Dannii made the worst choices out of them all. That kid Dominic was excellent. In the auditions he was one of the few who obviously really impressed the judges. Simon even went out after to tell his partents how special he was, yet Dannii did'nt put him through. Instead put through those two average singers who won't go far at all, and the increadibly arrogant and in no way likeable Ridion. :puke:

 

Louise and Sharon made the right choices, Simon did as well I supose, although the groups are pretty dire in general tbh.

Will someone tell me who got through ... I'm only interested in the over 25's and the girls under 25 (as there was just one there who seemed to stand out from the rest - the plain girl (I think she was a northerner) with the dead straight hair).

I can't see the boyband lasting long either...nobody needs a new boyband in 2007...we have old ones instead (Take That, Westlife :P )

 

I think Dannii's boys will do well...I can't see any of them going in at least the first three or four weeks...

suprised that Luke didn't get through, I think he would have did well with mothers and young girls.

 

I'm also devastated that Zyta from the over 25s didnt get through, she was brilliant, definatley the best female singer. don't know what louis was thinking.
