must've been non-itunes downloaders, since its peak on there is about 38. Another download service? Fancy that!

Oh and Girls dropped to 83 this week. Fair drop, not top100 on itunes now either and i'm guessing the physical will be pretty dried up as its not in the top40 there either...

Prob that's its run now, and just a few thousand more sales over the next few weeks

Sugababes sold over 500,000 singles last year according to Music Week.

well considering that they didn't really have a smash hit i think it is.

sorry i couldn't tell if that comment was sarcastic or not.

It wasn't :P That is impressive! Aha. Girls did 160k, No Can Do about 12k when this was compiled, About You Now probably did 80k-odd, Change probably 30k-odd, Denial 65k or so, so from those five they sold about 350,000 singles - I guess all of their old ones combined must be selling really consistently...

This is the difficulty. We get regular album updates but not for singles. When No Can Do was released they said Sugababes had sold over 3million singles in total but the individual sales last we have don't quite reach that by a fair bit. We get regular album updates for all though which loads of other artists' fans would kill for so hard to complain.

Also, noticed that 2007 Change (single) on physical release week sold 11,912 copies to get number 13 (doubling sales from previous week), which was Xmas week, usually big sales. Around the same time this year (actually week after Xmas when single sales are usually lower though not as much nowadays thanks to Xmas gift cards for downloads apparently), NCD sold 12,890 copies to hit 23. I mean ok, sales are generally more encouraging now but it's interesting Change wasn't regarded as the biggest of flops (though was really a bit), but yet NCD was declared a flop before release and most were relieved to see it limp as high as 23. Perhaps its sales will be about the same as Change's overall, which isn't bad, its still holding up so far and has sold about 32k up to last week by my reckoning (position above did about 7.5k last week :))

Thats great about the 500k singles, shame they didn't manage the albums list. So averaging a little less than 400k a year if you consider they've sold over 3.1mil by now and have been going about 8 years, so last year was amazingly still above average :D

Album sales last year were around 130k for Change, 80k for Overloaded, and 85k for Catfights, with roughly 20k+ from their other catalogue, making around 315k, they can't have been far off :)

No Can Do is scraping 30k now ^_^ about 29,950

On 5 January No Can Do total was 24,886, plus, last week we didn't get official sales but it was #36 and we got: 32 Saturdays - Up 7,822

37 Pink - Sober 6.494, so it should be around 6,800.

This week official sales reported by Music Week are 5,093 so the total now is aprox. 36,780

I heard the sales last week were 6826. Then this week with 5093 so the total is 36805.

Does anybody know where Girls is?

I know it's out of the top 100.

About You Now is #99 in the end of year charts. Which must put it's it sales near 450k.

Denial is #132 which is above If This Is Love, so it must have done nearly 80k.

Change is #228 so that's probably sold about 10-30k more.

About You Now sold 106750 in 2008 taking it's total to 453170 at the end of 2008

Denial sold 78000 at the end of 2008

Change sold 44000 in 2008 taking it's total to 85775 at the end of 2008

i think about you now will be one of those songs that will last through the decades. its such a great song.
