Oh Jim please! Just because a song gets to number one doesn't diminish its mediocrity. Think of a load of c**p songs in the past that have kept good songs from getting to number one! Are you saying every song that has got to number one is great?

If people don't like a song, they dont buy it.

 

Hence, some people expected Aly & AJ to enter the top 10, but they missed the top 20- Thats because its not as popular as people believed it was.

 

A popular song WILL chart high- even if the song is mediocre.

 

 

If it was by a singer with an equally good voice who'd not been on X-Factor it wouldn't sell 10% of what it will sell. It's only a huge seller because of the amout of promotion she's had in the last 12 months.

Leona's doing well BECAUSE people like the song. If they didnt like the song- they wouldn't buy it. Even if they did vote for Leona to win in the X-Factor.

I happen to think her performance was AMAZING and the song is BRILLIANT.

I would buy it if she was on the X Factor or not. I don't buy into this reality tv show $h!t. I have never bought anything by any of them in my life except Will Young, Sinead Quinn + Girls Aloud but I have bought this song and am championing it all the way. I don't judge on the singer - yeh she's dull but the song more than makes up for that. People who buy into the media [cough Britney/Wino] and buy their music because someone's in the papers so they must be good are r*t**** and obviously don't appreciate real music.

Who care's if she's dull the song is amazing. They don't have to have amazing personalities as long as they make good music, that's all that matters in my opinion. And I think she's far better than some other reality TV show $h!t, I mean take Shayne Ward for example. He's only had one song that went to #01 and that was his winning single and surely hes had alot of promotion over the last 12 months? Leona's song is just amazing and she has real talent, it'll be proved when it's #01 this week. ^_^
