Sorry, who are you again? If getting banned means I can't defend myself after being called a dumb f*ck, then so be it. I cannot stand Britney Spears. I think she is 100% a skank, regardless of the quality of her music. She couldn't even be bothered to shoot a decent video for her comeback single! If someone wishes to have it out with me for expressing an opinion, then I'm sure we can resolve it without resorting to stupid swear words. But if someone wants to start a flame war with me for no particular reason, go ahead. I was provoked into my last post, make no mistake about that. Mr DP is perfectly entitled to his viewpoint, but was the name-calling really necessary? And I could do without that flunky of his saying PWNED like a demented parrot, like it was some kind of contest. Dont be daft. :lol: 50% of the population wont have heard any of her recent stuff, of that 50% another 10% may like it, so that's only 5% in the grand scheme of things - but that's still well over a million adults. Chances are that less than about 2% of the teen-adult population like her enough to buy her CD, as with any artist.

I wasn't going to write again on this thread, but I can assure you this person is not me. I certainly wouldn't resort to multiple profiles just to garner support. I can see why you'd think that though, this person has only 7 posts. As soon as I saw them I thought "Great, some smart alec is going to accuse me of forging identities, why can't I have someone agreeing with me who isn't a newbie?" Of course, you might think I'm kidding, but unless I joined again and typed it in my sleep I am 100% sure you are misinformed. But as they say: think what you want, don't let the truth get in the way... :)

The fact is I think she is an appalling role model & mother but I've bought the download of the single because it is a great track. Personally, I think (like Michael Jackson beforehand) there is no doubt that the awful PR she has had has hindered not helped sales. As I fully expected this track to be comfortably UK#1 on I-Tunes by now, not struggling to outsell the Hoosiers for #2.
