Has anybody watched the new Jet Li film called ‘War’ yet? If so, is it a film worth watching?

It alright, nothing special just another one of those usual genre pics. i went with me bro who likes these types of films and he thought it was alright, so if you like stuff like this you will like it.

 

however could have done big f***off battle between Jason Statham and jet li as the promo for the film kinda suggests that more.

 

actually better than shoot em up with clive owen, which would have be so much improved by the casting of Jason Statham as mr smith as i think clive owen is a bit of a plank when it comes to films like shoot em up. totally the wrong person, gotta have someone who can do that ironic smirk at the all rediculessness of it all (bruce willis would have been totally castable too)

Paul Giamatti as Hurtz was good but dont know what the f*** he was doing in a cheesy film like this esp after sideways he doesnt need to do Big Momma's House anymore (then again he might like this kinda stuff :lol: )

‘Shoot ‘Em Up’ is not recommended then?

yup, i did....It was just usual action movie, nothing special, yakuza thing, revenge and revenge blah blah....etc
