October 4, 200717 yr The third film was pretty turgid and woeful compared to the first two... And how exactly does this lead on from the ending of the third film anyway....? What about the bloke and his little girl...?
October 4, 200717 yr oo I cant wait, Ive loved the first three and for the first time I can go to the cinema to watch it :D Im 18 this time round heh
October 4, 200717 yr Saw 3 was one of the sickest films I've seen, so I expect this one to be damn nasty
October 4, 200717 yr Saw 3 was one of the sickest films I've seen, so I expect this one to be damn nasty To be fair, I've never found many film to be "sick." Blood and Gore just dosnt get to me, it's the phycological and just.. "creepy" films that get to me (i.e. Wolfcreek, Blair Witch Project). Thats what I think the Saw films are missing. Although the films are AMAZING to watch and the Saw Writers always manage to come up with crazy and sneeky plots/endings, so this one should be great. :D
October 4, 200717 yr Looks $h!t. And blatantly will just be typically "NO PLOT JUST GORE" and crappidy. Oh and the moment you see a MySpace url on it's advert you can tell it'll be completely waste hah.
October 4, 200717 yr I think this looks good, but they should have just left it as a trilogy. This has to be last one now surely? Unless they find someone to explain that Jigsaw isn't actually dead or something.
October 4, 200717 yr I've heard theres going to be a saw 5 and saw 6 too, is this true? :o I hope they don't. :( Would be complete overkill. I'll guess though judging by the fact they're doing a 4th one that they'll have plans for a 5th and 6th one if this one does well at the box office. Jigsaw IS Saw though and I don't see how they can carry on with Saw films without him if he's dead.
October 5, 200717 yr To be fair, I've never found many film to be "sick." Blood and Gore just dosnt get to me, it's the phycological and just.. "creepy" films that get to me (i.e. Wolfcreek, Blair Witch Project). Thats what I think the Saw films are missing. Although the films are AMAZING to watch and the Saw Writers always manage to come up with crazy and sneeky plots/endings, so this one should be great Yep, I don't find many films to be "sick" but some of the scenes in Saw 3 are just REPULSIVE - the fact that any director could even COME UP with something like a guy getting buried alive in pig remains is rather freaky...so yeah, on the whole I don't find horror films to be "sick" - like you, it is more the psychological horror. You pointed out "Wolf Creek" ...now that is one of the most disturbing films I've ever seen.. Edited October 5, 200717 yr by JDL
October 6, 200717 yr There is a workprint out of this, does that mean the movie has leaked :o Really...? Hmmmm, well, it could mean that... But in many cases I think these "leaks" are deliberate... I'm convinced Rob Zombie or someone on his team leaked the rough cut of "Halloween" onto the net as well in order to generate interest and hype in the completed version (which has a different ending and re-shot scenes for the cinema...), so I reckon it's a similar story here....
October 6, 200717 yr The third film was pretty turgid and woeful compared to the first two... yeah man, actually i might not even bother going to see this as it could be just more of the same. as for saw 1 think that was good but James Wan 1 hit wonder totally
October 27, 200717 yr I saw saw 4 today and it was better than I had expected. It was certainly better than the last one and maybe even better than the second. And there was much more action than in the first but, of course, it owned everything to the first so originality-wise it was a distant second. Without reveling too much about the plot (probably quite a few of the regulars here are going to go to see it) I have to say it was entertaining, not too boring and didn't overstay its welcome (only 90 some minutes long). A few things did bother me somewhat but I'll leave them out so that I won't reveal too much. But overall, worth the ticket price (unlike the 3rd part).
November 3, 200717 yr I went to watch it last night and I was really surprised, it was actually quite good. Only problem is that there were a few unanswered questions. What happened that Jigg or Brigg or whatever lol, and what happened to that woman that was shot?? It was much better than the last one HOW DISGUSTING WHAT THE BEGINNING OF IT THOUGH??? And the trailers of other movies made me laugh. Did anyone see the one for "shrooms" How bad does that look? LOL
November 3, 200717 yr I liked saw 1 and 2 but the last episode was very poor. Ive heard saw 4 is rated only a 15..is this true
