"Piece of Me" is a industrial-tinged electro track produced by "Toxic" masterminds Bloodshy & Avant that has Brit taking her tabloid foes to task with a knowing wink. "I'm Mrs. Most Likely to Get on the TV for Strippin' on the Streets When Getting the Groceries/ No, for real, are you kidding me?" she sings. Or, rather, "sings" — her vocals are so processed and tweaked, "Piece of Me" could almost double as a vocoder-ized Daft Punk song. Of course, this is a great strategy; when it comes to Britney, there's no such thing as too much AutoTune. The Swedish producers manage to work in a chicken cluck (a la M.I.A's " Bird Flu") and enough distorted synths to make French dance rockers Justice jealous.
