Posted October 5, 200717 yr AOL Music says the video on MTV may be different -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AOL Music says the video on MTV may be different Britney Spears' long-awaited 'Gimme More' video makes its official debut Monday on MTV, but as is inevitable in the age of the interwebs, it's already making the rounds online. Or at least one version of it is. What surfaced features two Britneys -- the blond, bashful one is a giggly patron at a strip joint, as the raven-haired, pole-dancing Britney titillates her fairer self from the stage. It's rumored that this video for the hit song is different than the one that will premiere on Monday's edition of TRL. Until then, fans can download their very own copy of the strip-happy Spears' music video from iTunes. What's clear is that Spears' VMA performance, which evidently drew its choreography from this raunchy video shoot, could have been better with one simple addition: Britney's trusty stripper pole.
October 6, 200717 yr I would be pissed if I paid 2 bucks for the video on iTunes and it wasn't even the 'real' one. monday we'll know if there really is a different version
October 6, 200717 yr wait till monday and see there's nothing left :0 oh btw the world premiere it's on sunday midnight on MuchMusic in Canada D well GM is the #1 song in Canada :D
October 6, 200717 yr New Britney Video Set to Air Britney Spears will release her first music video in more than two years this coming Monday. The video – for the song "Gimme More" – will premiere on MTV's TRL at 3:30 p.m. ET., a rep for the network confirms to PEOPLE. Although details about the final version of it are being kept a secret, Spears, 25, was spotted in costume at a Los Angeles warehouse back in July, reportedly filming a video. Her outfit consisted of a short black dress, black boots and a black hat. But it is not for certain that the fo otage from that particular shoot made the final cut that will air on TRL. In fact, the video will contain footage from two different shoots, sources say. After an underwhelming performance of the song at the Sept. 9 MTV Video Music Awards, and the ongoing bitter custody battle with ex Kevin Federline playing out in the media, rooting fans will be watching for the singer to make a big splash with the new video. And, in spite of her travails, Spears has good news from Billboard's Hot 100 chart this week, where "Gimme More" soared from the No. 68 position last week to No. 3. (It also continues to be the most downloaded song on iTunes.) A rep for Spears's record label tells PEOPLE: "Jive is enormously excited about Britney's new album. We're confident that it will secure her reputation as one of the great recording artists of her time." The album is set for release Nov. 13. Source: People now people.com say that also :)
