Must admit I didn't think much of the Tony Wilson in this, but I thought Toby Keppell as Rob Gretton was great. Unfortunately I haven't got much to go on with Rob as regards what he was like as he died so early but from what I've read Keppell gets it spot on.

Have you ever met John Cooper Clarke? I have been reading about him in blogs that are linked to the Manchester scene music. I hear he's a pretty wierd dude.

i love his cameo in Control. I think that's the best part of the movie.

 

He's barely been seen or heard of in about twenty five years but has come back to public consciousness due to the comparisons Arctic Monkeys had to him. He featured on a Reverend and the Makers b-side recently too.
