I don't think having a video will affect Leona's chance at all tbh. Not many people watch The Box or The $h!ts anyway tbh.

I'm going to go with....

1. Britney

2. Leona

3. McFly

4. Take That

I have seen pre-orders, (probably won`t mean much) but TAKE THAT have been pre-ordered the most of all...

and what dose that mean

'pre-ordered' means shops have order them to stock shelfs.

Doesn't mean anything has sold, just gives an indication of predicted retail sales.

CORRECT

No. Youtube has no geographical boundary and people from the US will be a lot of the views.

Also as I hinted at yesterday, the most viewed video of a single due for physical release at this point is:

Alicia Keys - No One

Now over 1.7 Million views, up 200,000 since yesterday.

Leona, of course!

if britney gets this #1, i will lose all my faith in the human kind! x__x

The #1 video in the UK is currently a behind the scenes look at Leona's new video... Alicia Keys will struggle to make the top 20 here. She'll do well in the US no doubt, but not here.

A- "Bleeding Love" got 1.5 million hits on her official site within hours of it being released to radio.

B- SONY have been doing a TEXT download pre-order for weeks, for all we know she already may have 100k orders.

I actually think Alicia Keys' new song could be the biggest of her career. It really is amazing.

ah, Leona is on Sony? Alicia is on Sony also.

It would be wise of Sony to but the Alica Keys track back a few weeks to stop them treading on each others toes.

Leona as she has physical advantage, Brit at #02

In terms of 'physical' Britney has a massive advantage over everyone else... :)

, TT and McFly will battle it out for #03

What about Oasis' download release?

Edited by vidcapper

What about Oasis' download release?

LOL I can't see that being a great contender. Probs just outside of the Top 10 to be honest.

Just outside the top 10? Some kind of joke surely?

No, it won't challenge for number one with the competition it has but there's no way an act with as big a fanbase as Oasis have would miss the top 10 with any kind of song not on an album.

I can't imagine Oasis' download single will trouble the top 5.

thanks you josh

so u ent a mcfly fan either

well done bud

Erm could you try and like type in proper ENGLISH please?

I was thinking about the Oasis download too but I can't imagine it will be #1 - top 5 MAYBE very slim chance. There's also Freemasons and Backstreet Boys but I can't see them causing much damage...

And as for Britney - the song is very good but I am sick of reading about the woman. She has turned herself from one of the most interesting and consistant pop singles of the decade imo into a crazy has been $l*t that seems to think pole dancing and acting like a complete lunatic are the best way to sell a record. It seems to me she cares more about getting her clothes off and having a successful single than her own children and that is just god damn wrong.

So stop talking about her like she's some kind of god because she isn't. Before I have respected her but now I believe she needs proper help instead of making a spectacle of herself.

If anyone should be #1 that week it shoul be Take That or Leona.

All of their songs are $h!t?

I refer you to my avatar.

(Mind you, I did like "Five Colours In Her Hair" and "All About You".)

Are you sure Alicia's single is out the same week? I thought it was out Nov 5th.

No One is going to do well. Just because her previous singles didn't do well doesn't mean this won't be a hit

I got this from Calvin Harris's blog...

used to think McFly were alright...

Current mood: irritated

Hello! I just got back from a gig in Manchester at the M.E.N Arena, it was called 'The Big Gig' and it was about as poptastic an event as i have played...! Its a thing that the girl guides do every year, i thought it would be nice to play as it has become apparent that alot of people who like my tunes are under 18 and its quite nice to play a gig for people who can't get in the venues we play most of the time...it was good fun and the crowd were awesome.

Anyway, that aside, i just wanted to mention McFly's horrible, sordid money-making antics at the gig.

Now i don't go to many pop gigs, so i don't really know if this is usually how these dudes get down but its the first time i saw it, so it made an impression...

It started with our hero Tom asking if 'anybody has a mobile phone?'

Well blatantly, everyone does...

He then went on to explain that they were going to play their new single, and film them AND the crowd whilst they perform it, and if you text 827632 (or whatever) you can download it on to your phone and show all your friends! Amazing!

Oh and it only costs £1! Incredible! (plus data charges of course) His robotic delievery of these facts was also extraordinary.

There were 30,000 girl guides there over two shows, can't help but think they did quite well out of it. It reminded me of one of those loans adverts with Carol Vorderman or something.

Maybe i'm being naive, but apparently blatantly extorting money from people as young as 10 is ok nowadays, as long as you're in a band, that's cool.

What a shower of w*n**rs, seriously.

Another example of 4 men who have been fully sucked into corporate $-land, and apparently forgotten that they're supposed to be musicians...and its supposed to be fun...?

*** 'em, i seriously lost alot of respect for those dudes.

Please excuse me i just had to get that off my chest.

Anyway to end on a happy note, i met The Hoosiers properly for the first time and they're diamond geezers!

Calvin x

Shocking :o

i agree with him to be honest.......... <_< there music isn't that bad most of the time and if they just did the same of anyone else then they would be respected then pleading little girls to download there song at there gig -_-
