Diva pitch on ITV

The world's top female singing talent will be showcased in a spectacular ITV1 special this autumn.

Saturday Night Divas boasts a line-up of global superstars such as Celine Dion, Alicia Keys and Jennifer Lopez.

British acts Girls Aloud, Leona Lewis, Jamelia and Natasha Bedingfield will also perform, as will R&B queen Chaka Khan.

The show, to be hosted by Myleene Klass, will mark the conclusion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and ITV music and events controller Guy Freeman said: "To get artists of this calibre from across the world on one show is a great coup."

Dion will also star in An Audience With Celine Dion on ITV1 and the channel has two other specials featuring Westlife and Kylie Minogue lined up for late autumn.

I wonder what she'll sing

It will probably be "If I Can't Have You" again  save her learning any new words

do they have to sing other peoples sh*t?
Yeh it will be like the last one she did, they'll cover disco classics, saturday night divas, Yeh I should imagine they will be covering big stars songs

the "if i can't have you" song is a live recording?

wooh, she sounds really good live on that song then. i thought it was a studio recording.

I think it was put onto a CD from the show so the copy we have could be studio.
ahh right. cool.

Nah, they're bringing out a compilation CD with it too.
Yeah, probs to accompany the show. But i think what he's trying to get across is that it features Jamelia's own song - so she might not be singing a cover tommorow.
Oh and btw, its on NEXT saturday ... not tommorow.
Oh, okay, cool. I'd rather she did a cover though, we've all seen Superstar and her other hits performed a hundred times!

Oh okay.

Is this the first time they've done one of these diva shows? If not, what do the acts usually do?

I'd rather she did a cover too...although, I'm almost getting tired of seeing her do those now aswell.

Tired of seeing Superstar now, would be better if she did Beware Of The Dog, if only they did this last time last year.
