The 2 biggest acts of the year were T Rex and Slade. The charts were dominated by both acts this year.

 

Teenyboppers were all the rage in this year with The Osmonds, Jacksons, David Cassidy & the Partridge Family, <_<

 

New bands formed this year included Wings, Kiss

Definately were, 2 rock & roll suicides, :( grossly underated band, should have got more recognition
