^ I love the song Sympathy but prefer Marillion's cover version.

One song that I came very close to including in the list of 50 Songs of the 1970 ROTY Game, that I absolutely love and was amazed no one nominated it as a missing song is:

Moody Blues - Question

How did I forget this song, I love this song, goes and digs out my greatest hits LP

Some great music that year, I especially love Reflections Of My Life by Marmalade, one of my all-time fave songs!
LOVE Ride a white swan I think it's one of the best T-rex did.

Great year for rock too.

indeed, it was the first year 'rock' singles broke through into the charts... black sabbath, deep purple, in particular. but lets not forget the perrenial 'alright now' and the forgotten 'love like a man' (ten years after)

Lola by the Kinks is one of my faves from this year, one of thier best songs aswell imo
