I was SO annoyed that they skipped pretty much the best bits of Bleeding Love but didn't cut any of the entire 10 minutes it took her to sing the second song. Beautiful song and Leona did a cracking version but Lordy it never ends! I would have much preferred they included the best bits of Bleeding Love that they cut out, but cut out perhaps one of the 1,046 choruses from her 2nd track.

How gorgeous did Myleene look??? :D:D

Leona - The First time ever I saw your face, was deffo the standout performance, she did it beautifully.

Jamelia made me laugh, she was absolutely terrible!

and the Jennifer lopez thing was daft

it wasnt really that good a show though

Liked Alicia Keys performance.

Shame on Celine miming. :arrr: Shocked to read she did the same on her audience with...... & shame on the celebs giving her a standing ovation. They should have booed her off the stage.

I don't think that's fair. J was the weakest out of the lot vocally, yes, but her overall performance was great. She had lots of energy, it showed her personality & who she is as an artist, audience participation and it was a nice, fun performance.

There were much worse performances than J.

If that's how you feel though................ :(

Alright lol,

She was all fun and she did get the audience going

Her vocals were bad though

Best performance of the whole show for me. Leona totally outshone everyone else on there.

Leona and Chaka were clearly the best 2 performers. really annoyed that Celine mimed and that shes miming on 'An Audience With'
LOVED the way the second (possibly first) most experienced singer in the line up mimed whilst acts like Leona and Girls Aloud totally gave amazing live performances.
Oh and BTW ... Myleene cant present for $h!t!

To be honest I expected more, well, Divas on this show. It just seemed like they invited anyone on who could do with some free promotion. Celine, Chaka and Leona have albums coming out. Alicia and Girls Aloud have a single out/ coming up. Well Jamelia and Natasha Bedingfield could do with an appearance to raise their profile.

I know this was for charity, but pretty much everyone that appeared had something to promote. I'm glad they didn't all shove it down our throats though.

I suppose I'd rather see people I actually consider to be Divas on the show, but I know they aren't really available. To me Divas are Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Madonna, The Spice Girls, Celine Dion and Chaka Khan. Ok those last two appeared, but my point is I think the term Diva was used quite loosely. I don't consider Jamelia a Diva; talented, yes, but not a Diva.

What I wanted from the show aside, the performances were quite average to me. Celine miming let me down- she has a good voice. I think that J'Lo performance might have been from Parkinson. Jamelia wasn't that great live, she was energetic though. Girls Aloud were alright, as was Natasha Bedingfield. Chaka was good, her squawking irratated me a little.

Alicia Keys and Leona saved the show for me, both their performances were great. I feel in love with "No One" on this show and Leona's voice is chilling.

Ugh and one last thing that annoyed me. Myleene Klass with her "Girls Aloud have 16 top 10 singles. The Spice Girls only had 10". What a cheap shot that I can't take seriously. Girls Aloud have 16 Top 10 Singles, I applaud them for that, but they barely compare to the Spice Girls in terms of success. The Spices Girls had 9 number 1 singles, possibly a tenth in the next few weeks- Girls Aloud have had three. I don't even know where to look to compare the Worlwide record sales of the two groups, but I don't need to. The Spice Girls sales would make the Girls Aloud sales figures cry.

*ahem* I had to get this rant off my chest. I was looking forward to this show since I read about it in the Newspaper and I was disappointed with the actual programme. :(

I don't think it's all together fair to blame Myleene for a part of the script you didn't like  She's paid to say what's on the autocue

But I still haven't seen the show, I have to wait til I go home :(

I agree :P

I don't consider Jamelia a Diva; talented, yes, but not a Diva.

Many of the folk that were there aren't "divas", but I'd say J's more diva than Leona Lewis, for example. J's sold over a million (at least) worldwide and forged a 10+ year career. Leona's released two singles and they saying she's a diva? Please.

You're right. The term is used too loosely.

I'm not having a dig at Leona, of course, because I like her a lot. I supported her on the show and afterwards. She's great vocally.

Ok then. :P I didn't like the script, I know it was to hype them up as divas, but it seemed like yet another stab at the Spice Girls from Girls Aloud. (eventhough they didn't actually say it)

I was just using Jamelia as an example really, since she hasn't had a Number 1 single even. I could have said any of the other artists on the show, except Celine and Chaka.

Leona should be a Diva in the future, with that voice. I'm quite sure that from just two singles she has sold over a million records and with the album out next week and the single still doing well the figure could reach 2 million by the end of the year. But she isn't a Diva yet, her career may fizzle if she doesn't release the third single at a good time. (I hope not though)

Leona has not sold over a million with those two singles.
Actually it says here it says A Moment Like This sold 699330 copies in 2006 and it says here that she has sold a further 116885 this year. That makes about 816K. Bleeding Love is on 377K at the moment, so combined that is almost 1.2 million records. Correct me if I'm wrong. ;)

Oh wow, I didn't think her first one sold that much.

GET IT, LEONA.
