It was very good indeed. This is where Corrie is at its best - dealing with ordinary everyday tragedies. I'm not ashamed to say I had a tear in my eye watching tonight's episode.

 

Glad to see that Corrie hasn't given up on the humour though - with Carla's 'as clingy as a shower curtain' line ... I've got to remember that one!
