Aww no way it's gonna be so sad. Much sadder than Mike's I feel - I can sense something as sad as Alma dying coming on.

Its always worse I think when the death is an older woman :(
Another dull episode from Corrie.
What annoys me about Corrie is that lack of parenting skills. I mean, If I was having sex with my teacher I'd be kicked out of school and (well not out the house) but badly told off. etc. etc.

Coronation Street cabbie Lloyd is to embark on a rocky romance with café worker Becky.

The Streetcars owner (Craig Charles) provides a comforting ear when Becky (Katherine Kelly) is left devastated after a one-night stand with Jason (Ryan Thomas) fails to develop into a relationship.

Becky initially resists Lloyd's charms, saying: “I don’t need your sympathy, thanks. So stop stalking me.”

However, she changes her mind when he starts plays it cool, telling her: “Look, I’m going to the pub. I don’t care if you’re there or not.

“But if you do come I promise I won’t try to cop off with you - which in turn doesn’t mean I think you’re a minger.”

Their relationship blossoms after Becky shows up at the Rovers and buys Lloyd a beer and some crisps.

An insider said: “Lloyd and Becky are a good match because they are both popular characters. But in the usual Corrie tradition their relationship will certainly be anything but plain sailing.”

Llyod and Becky- Wouldn't have put them together but it might work.

Im really liking the character of Tina- think she will change Davids character around.

Tina's very good. ^_^ Her and David will be a devilish pairing though. :o

Corrie has averaged 11.1 million this week after averaging 9.5m last week.

The total average for Corrie thus far this year is 9.9 million, with Easties' at 9.3m.

Good to see Corrie getting back on track after the annual Christmas slump and regaining its place as Britain's most watched soap. :w00t:

I laughed when Sally was talking to Sophie about what life inside prison is like.

"Oh, I don't know I've only watched it on Bad Girls & Prison[/b]"

LOL yeh

Tonights episodes were actually really good :o On the up ^_^ this Maria/Carly rivalry is good, but I want Maria to win :(

Lloyd?

Why the hell is he even still in the show?

I can only think of him in Red Dwarf tbh serious acting isn't his thing. :(

Im so bored of this baby-swap storyline.

How awful was the actor who play Ryan tonight? Jeez.
