FURIOUS mechanic Kevin Webster comes to blows with Tony Gordon when he catches the tycoon measuring up his garage.

The grease monkey throws a smug-looking Tony off his premises after the knicker boss goes ahead with plans to buy the business behind Kevin’s back.

But after Kevin throws a spanner in the works, ruthless Tony sets about seducing his daughter Rosie to help get what he wants.

According to our Corrie source, loaded Tony launches a bid to buy up half of Coronation Street so he can expand the factory he owns with fiancée Carla Connor.

First on his hit list is Kev’s garage and Rita’s Kabin.

But when Kevin fails to take his offer seriously, a determined Tony decides to get the ball rolling anyway – with or without the owner’s permission.

Our insider said: “At first Kevin doesn’t think Tony’s being serious and he just laughs him off.

“But when Kevin dismisses Tony’s second proposal the treacherous businessman takes drastic action.

“While Kevin is away on a call-out Tony brings his own surveyor in to measure the garage.

“Kevin arrives back and all hell breaks loose.

“The two have a massive argument before Kevin kicks Tony and the surveyor out.”

But we can reveal that evil Tony’s plans don’t just stop there.

Still determined to get what he wants, Tony kisses young Rosie so she’ll help him betray her own dad.

The insider added: “Tony doesn’t like the word ‘no’ and he’s furious when Kevin ruins his plans.

“He wants a clueless Rosie to photocopy a list of Kevin’s clients so he can ruin her dad’s business.

“One way or another, Tony always gets what he wants and he doesn’t care who gets hurt in the process.”

Fans of the ITV1 soap can catch all the action a week tomorrow.

LUCKY bast*rd  ... Marcus that is

Ooh I like the sound of that. Him and Marcus would be better suited than Marcus and the vile SEAN anyway. :manson:

Seans seriously needs to be axed ASAP.

It's a cousin of Liam. He turned up a some stag do aswell not long ago, the one where Ryan got "drunk" :heehee:

Either way I'm sure I've heard rumours of him

going gay before too. Wasn't there a rumour going round not long ago [before Marcus came on the scene] that he was gonna get with Sean?

______________

David - played by 20-year-old Jack P Shepherd - is dumped by Tina McIntyre after she discovers he has been hacking into her emails, according to the Daily Star.

The desperate young lad begins stalking Tina - played by 21-year-old Michelle Keegan - in a bid to woo her back and is so persistent he even ends up barred from the kebab shop where she works.

In a bid for revenge, feisty Tina turns up at posh city centre salon Peter & Paul where David has just been taken on as a trainee.

She insists he washes her hair and then screams the place down claimed he has scalded her with hot water. She shouts at his horrified bosses Peter and Paul: "Your useless tea boy has burnt my scalp off. I bet I've got blisters all under my hair - I'm going to sue you."

After fighting with David she ends up soaking the rich clients with the shower hose, then yells "Oh, get over it. You'll dry out, and it's a bit livelier than reading them boring old magazines."

Tina is thrown out of the salon, closely followed by David.

A soap insider told the newspaper: "David will be devastated - he'd pinned all his hopes on making this job work and he has lost his girl as well."

Coronation Street bosses are hoping viewers have bad memories after sneaking in a previous star to play a new role.

The last time Madhav Sharma was seen in the soap he played corner shop boss Dev Alahan's father.

Now he's set to appear later this month as Prem Mandel, an entrepeneur who befriends Dev and takes him under his business wing.

Viewers last saw Madhav as Ranjiv Alahan at his son's wedding in October 2004.

Then he disappeared from sight and has only been in touch by telephone.

Madhav will figure in one of Corrie's best storylines of the year when Dev does the dirty on him and starts having an affair with his wife..

Michelle and fellow barmaid Becky Granger (Katherine Kelly, 28) hit the town with pals and end up at a karaoke bar.

Viewers will see Michelle belt out a thumping version of the Neil Diamond classic Love On The Rocks before bumping into a mate she used to know on the music scene called James Dean.

He is so impressed with her voice that he asks her to sing lead vocals at a gig the following week and then join the band on a European tour.

Michelle cannot believe her luck but all is not well when she tries to break her good news to boyfriend Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson, 33).

He is convinced she is up to no good and is only pursuing the singing path because she has got the hots for her new friend.

But he realises he is powerless to stop her fulfilling her dream, so reluctantly gives her his blessing.

Our mole said: “It’ll be great for Corrie fans to actually hear Kym sing again. Kym does quite a bit of singing away from the cameras, particularly at charity events and fund-raisers.

“She’s lost none of her vocal power.”

CORRIE couple Sean Tully and Marcus Dent are set to split up.

And it is all down to the Street’s original gay Todd Grimshaw.

He spills the beans that medic Marcus has been seeing a bloke called Noel in London.

At first Sean (Antony Cotton, 32) cannot believe his lover would two-time him and pours his heart out to Kelly Crabtree (Tupele Dorgu, 30).

She tries to reassure him all is well but heartbroken Sean tells Kelly: “It’s so awful. I can’t bear the thought of him being with someone else. I love him.”

Sean then rings old pal Todd (Bruno Langley, 25) to check his facts before confronting Marcus.

He then rants at his other half: “Don’t deny it because you’ve been seen with someone else. Just tell me who he was and if you love him.”

And Marcus (Charlie Condou, 35) finally confesses to snogging ex-lover Noel.

A mole said: “Sean is shattered by the news. He knows that things can never be the same again between him and Marcus.”

Actor Charlie is quitting Corrie when his year-long deal ends in September.

He said: “It’s the right time to move on and there are a few things in the pipeline.”

The cast and crew of Coronation Street took to the streets of Manchester again yesterday for yet more on-location filming. This time, the scenes involved Roy Cropper (David Neilson) and Ken Barlow (Bill Roache) being arrested in a drugs raid. Sound crazy? I thought so, too, but rest assured it's a complete misunderstanding.

Roy finds a package which has been left in the café and decides to take it back to its owner. Roy and Ken arrange to deliver the packet and as they're approaching two dodgy-looking youths, they're ambushed by undercover cops, arrested and dragged to Weatherfield police station for questioning.

Becky (Kat Kelly), meanwhile, finds the whole thing highly amusing when she goes to pick them up. What would Hayley say?

I am so sick of seeing the likes of David/Gail/Tina and the fact that there are no real stroylines recently to interest me to sit through 30 minutes of CS.

The writers of the show need to up their game, I know CS has always been more about more humane things, and is kind of a bit comedic in its intentions and i smore light hearted than EE but theres only so much light heartedness i can stand, so many characters woefully underused or given the bland comedy stuff which annoys me so much or its the same old charcters week in week out.

Sean, Lloyd, Kirk, Molly, Tyrone and Chesney should be axed because i see no point in the characters and if they have to stay give them something decent for goodness sake.
