I think this Joe and his painkiller addiction is being portrayed quite unrealistically. I'm pretty sure you can't get hooked on painkillers as quickly and easily as he did...

God this is embarassing to watch recently.

It's actually not even laughable.

Big changes needed.

Ah that was sad tonight! I must admit though ... me and hubby thought it would have been more appropriate if Rolf Harris's Two Little Boys had been played at the end instead of Waltzing Matilda!

Loved Blanche again (or is it Gypsy Rose Hunt!)

 at fortune teller Blanche

Corrie really gets its humour spot-on! I think EE needs to poach some of its comedy writing scripts. After a good last ten minutes last Friday, EE went all shyte again tonight!

haven't seen tonights yet, gonna watch it on ITV2 later. sounds good though!

Deirdre comes out with a brilliant one-liner to Blanche! You can see it coming ... but its still hilarious!

Blanche was brilliant last night. The end with Norris and Emily breaking down did make me a bit teary eyed though.

Personally I didn't find Blance funny at all - and that's a first. It just screamed Big Mo.

Sick looking at Clurrr and Ashley at the minute too.

Loving Emily though. She's fierce when angry.

I thought it was good, they need more episodes like that with everyone together. ^_^

It was Deirdre's retort to Blanche's comment 'some said my mother was a witch' that was funny though. Granted ... Blanche herself wasn't as funny as usual last night ... but even at her least funniest - the writers always give her better stuff than EE writers give Mo. Plus - Maggie Jones is an infinitely better actress/performer than Leila Morse - it is plain to see who got all the acting talent in her family.

Clare is so much fun when she's drunk! The dinner party tonight was excellent.

RAUNCHY Rosie Webster launches a blistering attack on Michelle Connor after catching her getting steamy with Luke Strong.

But it is the fiery teen who ends up in the gutter after Michelle bites back.

The two women clash at a party just hours after Rosie has been dumped by Luke (Craig Kelly, 38).

Rosie (Helen Flanagan, 19, pictured right) hits the roof when she spots the pair dancing and races over, grabbing Michelle by the hair and throwing her to the floor.

Rosie then bitches: “Oh sorry. I think my obscenely expensive diamond ring got stuck in your smelly, second-hand wig.”

The pair exchange blows before Rosie is sent flying, crashing into a coffee table.

She then gets thrown head-first out of the front door, falling into the road.

Michelle shouts: “I’m not surprised that bloke locked you in the attic, he was probably sick of your whining voice.

“He deserves a medal, not a prison sentence.”

This sounds hilarious, can't wait

That is going to be so good. Helen Flanagan is absolutely brilliant as the idiot girl upon whom a good education was wasted. I'm so glad that they ended Michelle's relationship with Steve and have now made her 'a bit of a flirt' as she's getting some good lines now.

I agree Michelle now is much better than before she went too whiney, bit like Fizz is now.

Not spoilering this as it's officially announced and on the internet/will be in papers so it'll be common knowledge :P

Kevin Webster's clandestine affair with Molly Dobbs in Coronation Street is to take a tragic turn for the worse when Kevin's wife Sally is diagnosed with breast cancer.

Producers are the Weatherfield soap are working hand-in-hand with a panel of breast cancer experts and charities to ensure that Sally's story is as realistic as possible.

Over the coming months, Kevin (Michael Le Vell) and his mistress Molly (Vicky Binns) continue meeting in secret for steamy sessions at a motel behind their respective partners' backs. However, the pair reach a crossroads in their affair when Molly asks Kevin to make a decision about their potential future together.

Kevin's world comes crashing down around him when Sally - played by 46-year-old Sally Whittaker - breaks the tragic news that she has found a lump on her breast and has been diagnosed with the disease.

Unbeknown to her family, Sally has kept her shock discovery a secret until the doctors informed her of the biopsy results. On hearing the news, a guilt-ridden Kevin is forced to choose between supporting his wife and family through the turbulent time ahead or continue seeing Molly.

Speaking of the plot, Whittaker said: "I do know women who have suffered or are suffering from breast cancer. For the last year, I have been fundraising for breast cancer charities and am a long-standing patron for The Genesis Appeal. So, when I was told about this storyline I was determined to do it justice for all the women out there who are going through what Sally is."

She continued: "A few years ago, I found a lump and was sent to get it checked out straight away. I was lucky that it proved to be nothing but the time spent waiting to find out the results was agonising."

A Coronation Street spokesperson added: "Breast cancer is a disease which affects so many women and their families. We are keen to ensure that the storyline accurately reflects the many problems and issues faced by breast cancer sufferers."

Sally will receive the devastating news in December.

Producers uncharacteristically took the decision to release story information earlier than usual to enable the show to work openly and closely with their panel of experts.
