I love both EastEnders & Corrie.

 

There's 3 main soap awards (Inside Soap Awards, British Soap Awards & National TV Awards] and Corrie won the first two.

if you take inside soap into account eastenders has won the award 11 times comparing to corrie's once,

 

this week ratings say it all,corrie got around 10.5 million for the big wedding wednesday

 

eastenders got 11.2 whilst up against another soap

 

can corrie ever accepy they are not always on top thats my point,corrie at times is better than eastenders and the whole eastenders crew admit that why cant corrie ever do the same??

Shameless I don't think anyone takes these awards seriously do they? I mean (and sorry to bring other programs into the thread) when you see Dr Who got the best drama over the sublime Life on Mars, and I'm A Celebrity won over The Apprentice ... you know something is askew!

 

The only award I agreed with was Top Gear!

Erm no... for EastEnders' wedding the one hour show averaged 10m, and got 9.1m when up against Emmerdale. Corrie's wedding got 10.7m. And while I'm no expert at maths, I can tell there that Coronation Street's ratings were certainly higher. :w00t:
