October 22, 200717 yr Thats a massive event. :o Although It cant be true, because performers havnt even been listed yet.. It's true. It's been mentioned in a lot of articles, plus they mentioned it on 'This Morning' when talking about J's upcoming stuff.
October 22, 200717 yr Strange, no offence to Jamelia but it surprises me why they would choose her.
October 22, 200717 yr Strange, no offence to Jamelia but it surprises me why they would choose her. She's one of the UK's biggest black female singers out now, forging an 8+ year career in the industry - and it's still going. Even when she flopped, she flopped with style. Most singers, when they flop, that's it. They either go into hibernation & begin working on the next project or you never hear from them again. J's been everywhere since and doing a lot of other stuff (from writing & recording the next album, to launching her own haircare range, to TV presenting, to acting (granted, we haven't seen it yet, but still...), concerts in the UK + Europe, etc. She's still in the public eye. Not to mention she's known out there in Europe too, so... J just had a dry spell. All the divas have one. Her label weren't supporting & promoting her right (I believe J isn't the only one to get a lack of support from Parlophone too?), which was one of the bigger factors leading to the commercial failure of her third album. When it came down to re-signing, she told them no & moved on. She's had plenty of label offers and last we heard, she cut those down to three and was mulling them over. I'm pretty sure she'll pick the right label for her. She needs a strong team behind her and J's a smart lady. She's fighting hard and ready to come back & smash 'em with album #4.

October 24, 200717 yr I want to pick one of her products up. Not to use on myself like, but just to go in my collection. I haven't seen you post much, Josh. How long have you been a fan of J? Recent or for years?
