Posted October 18, 200717 yr I would like to collect all those singles which were hits through out in Europe all worldwide but weren't released in the UK in the past and present as well. What do you think of these singles? Would they have been hits in the UK too?
October 18, 200717 yr Author I can think of: Scooter - How Much Is The Fish Sylver - Forever in Love Sarah Connor - (a lot of songs) No Angels - (the same) etc. I know of No Angels, their very first single was releas3ed in the UK, but I think it flopped I'm not sure though! That is all I can remember atm, later maybe more!
October 18, 200717 yr Some more: Shakira-La Tortura Gigi D'agostino (many due for release but all cancelled) Pink-Dear Mr President No Angels-Daylight In Your Eyes was a brilliant pop song, I was annoyed that it flopped here

October 18, 200717 yr I can remember that Gigi D'Agostino was on the release schedule but I don't know actually why it was cancelled every time? Because AATW is an awful record label nowadays  L'amour Toujours is a brilliant song
October 18, 200717 yr Kylie - Turn it into love (Prob one of her best songs) Kylie - Your disco needs you (Thank god it wasnt released, but its a huge fan/gay favourite)
October 18, 200717 yr Author Kylie - Your disco needs you (Thank god it wasnt released, but its a huge fan/gay favourite) How can you say this, it is a brilliant track. And yes it's a gay song really! Mel C had also some songs which wasn't released in the UK.
October 18, 200717 yr Mika - Relax take it easy Melanie C. - The first day of my life Anything by Laura Pausini
October 18, 200717 yr Nelly Furtado - Explode :( I think it really would have appealed to the people in the UK. Its very commericial and really should have been a single.
October 18, 200717 yr How can you say this, it is a brilliant track. And yes it's a gay song really! Mel C had also some songs which wasn't released in the UK. I really cant stand it (even more shocking considring I am a gay male lol) . I know she a gay icon. October 18, 200717 yr Author I do agree Your Disco needs You is rather a weak song but I still like it. Can't do anything against it

October 20, 200717 yr With regards to Your Disco Needs You, thank god we didn't get it -_- Please Stay is a hugely underrated classic. And as for AATW, they're okay! They got a lot of stick for their work with Dannii, it's rather unfair. :(

They got a lot of stick for their work with Dannii, it's rather unfair. :( They were great in 2001-2004...they had some massive hits but since then their singles releases are ALWAYS delayed to the point that nobody cares about the tracks anymore...and then when they are finally released they appear in hardly any record stores often for £4.99...Their Clubland series used to be my fave compilation series but now its very very chavvy with 'Clubland Babes' competitions seemingly more important than the music which is often sped up to the point that it can't be listened to :(

Paulina Rubio was on the video channels here but never made it which was a shame as I loved the track
October 20, 200717 yr Author I have some other German hits: Tic Taco Toe - Mr Wichtig (OK, it is in German, but maybe an English version?) Monrose - Shame Monrose - Hot Summer I think Monrose are at least as good as Girls Aloud.
October 20, 200717 yr DJ Encore - I See Right Through To You  this track...I saw the CD single in HMV once and nearly bought it...I don't know if that was an official release or an import???
