1. Believe Again: This is a phenomenal song, it sounds like something from a Disney film...I love the strings...sensational and possibly her best song since Extraordinary Day 10/10

2. In This Life: You know this one. I like this a lot and is probably the best pure pop single on the album, completely different to Believe Again which is good too and shows off her improved vocal range well 9.5/10

3. Possessionless: I've wanted to hear this for years and I'm not disappointed, I absolutely love it! 9.5/10

4. God Laughs: This is really nice mid-tempo pop song...I love this too 9/10

5. You Will Only Break My Heart: Very different reggae pop style from Delta but not so different that its not recognisably Delta...this is a brilliant song too and the whistling is infectious! 9/10

6. The Guardian: Nice ballad, like a less epic version of Together We Are One...I think this will be a grower 8/10

7. Bare Hands: This is a ballad with a synth twist...sounds a bit dancy with the electro noises in the background...not sure about this one at the moment but it might grow 6.5/10

8. Woman: I really like this one, like a successor to Born To Try...a nice ballad with a key change...perfect for Westlife if they were women! 9/10

9. I Can't Break It To My Heart: This isn't an album standout on first listen but again it will probably grow...Be Strong took about a month to grow on me back in 2004... 7/10

10. Brave Face: Not sure about this one yet, it doesn't standout again but gets better towards the end 6.5/10

11. One Day: This is weird with the guitar riff going through it, its almost like a Rouge Traders track at the start. I really like the rest of the song though and its like something I could imagine Natalie Imbruglia doing 8.5/10

12. Angels In The Room: A nice ballad to finish with but it didn't particularly stand up against Believe Again or Possessionless on the first listen 7.5/10

Overall mark on first listen: 9/10

There are no bad tracks on here, and those that I might call average or just above average will probably grow in the same way that I thought Be Strong and Disorientated were average on MI when I first got it...

I might have been inclined to replace Brave Face and Bare Hands with Take Me Home and Breathe In Breathe Out though...

Still, a 3rd great album from Delta

Probably Angels In The Room

Fragile was so simple though whereas all the ballads on here are more overproduced with more instrumentation

I beyond adore Bare Hands - God Laughs, The Guardian and I Can't Break It To My Heart are wonderful aswell, as is Angels In The Room.

Beautiful album :) The only one I'm not hot on is Woman.

im just giong to wait for my album to arrive...

Bleh i never managed to cope and ended up listening to it.

Great album, especially 'Believe Again', 'You Will Only Break My Hear', 'Woman' and 'Brave Hands'.

I think its not as good as her previous two albums though on first listen :(

I heard 1 min of 'God Laughs'! Relate too much to these lyrics...quite hard to listen too for me, but it is a good song! Not gonna listen to anymore of the album though :P!!

I really like Woman, its like vintage Delta, only with cheesier lyrics

Ive heard the bonus track 'Right Here In My Heart' and tbh i like it more than any other songs on the album, its a proper pure pop song
Its the I-Tunes bonus track, its a simple but really good pop song.

I Just downloaded Right Here In My Heart and I really love it too, it's SO good like the vocals and lyrics and it is really catchy. I would have liked it properly on the album too!

Okay so I am in the middle of writting a review now, I shall post shorty.

Amazing album, can't actually believe the mixed reviews on the official forum.

Well I just listened to the album for the first time, it was difficult waiting but definately worth it.

Really quick run down...

1.Believe Again 10/10

Love this so much, the intro with the strings and then the choir at the end really make the song for me. It is so full on but in a great way, I love how there is so much going on and so much there we haven't heard from Delta before.

Surely there is no better way to open this album, introducing Delta. This this is one of my all time favourite Delta songs.

2.In this Life 9/10

Well we all know this one. And I have to sad, the moment I first heard it with Toni, we fell in love straight away. The sound is now, it's not 2 years ago. It's a progression without being a departure.

Still one of my favourite album tracks, it's got that great singalong vibe to it shh I so don't ruin it....

3.Possesionless 9/10

This is great, I like the opening few notes and then the story like lyrics at the beginnging with the echoing vocals, emphasizing certian sections.

I like the message of the song and the metaphors, it's personal yet it could be about anything right? Great lyrics.

4.God Laughs 10/10

I was worried about this song with some of the lyrics that'd been revealed, BUT it is actually my favourite with Beileve Again [at the moment].

I actually love her vocals in this and the message about change and how it can be difficult sometimes, is relevent to everyone.

The lyrics are personal, yet they are user friendly [if that makes sense!], really like this song and the lyrics just make it that much better.

The idea of trying to understand something, and then you think you just got it, then it all changes again. It's like a vicious cycle.

5.You Will Only Break My Heart 9/10

Now this is great. It really is! The opening is just not what you expect at all!

It jumps out at you after the sobering effects of God Laughs. It's so different yet it works, well I think it works, it's Delta but it's not.

I love it anyway, I am so sure this will become a single.

The lyrics are alright but it's the music we're all listening to in this one along with the vocal style. [That's one thing this album has, is loads of different ways Delta uses her voice.]

6.The Guardian 6/10

Definately my least favourite track on the album, her voice sounds great but the lyrics are a bit over the top and it's a bit boring, I don't know. Something just doesn't click here, however it's still a good song and I guess it's good to have a power ballad in there somewhere.

7.Bare Hands 8/10

The opening is great, the piano looping is repetative and that works in the context of the song.

The spoken bits are great too, kind of simular to I Don't Care maybe? But obviously in a much better way, but that was my initial thought.

The metaphors in this are outstanding, well I think so.

8.Woman 8/10

Love Delta's voice in this one, the power is there and the song is really good, probably the most like Innocent Eyes, ironic that she didn't write it? Hmmm.

Anyway I like it but like Brad says, it doesn't relate to me in any way shape or form so yeah...

However I bet I get caught singing this in public, how I'm a woman, that could be intertesting!!

The best thing about this song is definately Delta's strong vocals.

9.I Cant Break It To My Heart 9/10

This is great, I love it, a nice ballad that really feels like a Delta song, the lyrics are nice, it's funny it's a love song but it isn't.

I like the idea of the song and I personally think this is the best real ballad on the album.

When Delta said she didn't write any piano ballads, I am slightly confused by that, because to me this is a piano ballad?

I really like this actually.

10.Brave Face 9/10

The whispering at the beginning, opens the song and then Delta telsl us to put our brave face on. The words are typical Delta right? She is telling us to ignor the bad and focus on the good, well that's how I see it. She's sad but she won't let them breka her down.

The umbrella line is odd, but hey. Really good song and I love the message behind it.

11.One Day 9/10

Okay so I was worreid about this one, hearing so much about it before I heard the actual track.

However, it is one of my favs? I love it, I love the different vocal technics and I love the music. I think most people can relate to procrastinating too!

The lyrics are a bit random, but that's the whole point, well I think anyway.

Music wise, it's kinda funny, during the verses I have no idea what the instrument is, but ah well, I like this, I think it's like Msscommunication in the sense, you either lvoe it or hate it. I loved that one too....

12.Angels in the Room 9/10

Now I was also worried about this, at the album launch this song did bore me, I thought it didn't build and that it was just there to be a ballad written by Delta.

Having listened to it again on the album I love it. I love the instruments in the background and I love how she sings the song.

It's the simple, You Are My Rock/A Year Ago Today song, however I definately prefer it to both of them, as I never really got on with either of them two!

This again, to me, is typical Delta lyrics.

Overall, I read so much about this album by forumers and such before I listened and I will admit I was worried. However I listened with an open mind, having already heard half the album at the album launch.

I love it, and I am not just saying this, like some might beileve. This is not at all what I was expecting, to me it's not even that different to her past albums, apart from the obvious.

Delta said it was very different, the views on the forum were so mixed, I dunno, I was expecting more varity from what was said about the album, in that sense I think I was slightly dissappointed, but at the same time I am really happy it is still [to me] obvious Delta and that she hasn't changed so much really.

Love it, I can't say just yet if I prefer it to Innocent Eyes or Mistaken Identity, but I can say that it was $20 well spent and this will more than likely be my favourite album of the year.
