Yes, they do the lens test here..among a whole bunch of others. Smelly breath doctors are no fun. :puke2: I've never considered contacts because I would be afraid that I wouldn't put them in right. They are quite expensive as well. I hate glasses, but I would rather wake up and put something on than mess around. :P

Yeah and laser surgery just looks frightening tbh... *Shudder*
Had to get rid of me lorry, due to these excruciatingly high gas prices...wound up getting a Chevrolet HHR, which is supposed to be a lot better on gas....it's estimated at 21 mpg in town, and 30 mpg on the open road...

I'll have to see if I can find the price.

Edit: I found this.

A report commissioned by AllAboutVision.com from a leading industry analyst in 2008 listed average LASIK costs as:

$2,105 for all laser-based vision correction procedures in which a single price is quoted.

$1,662 for non-customized LASIK using a bladed instrument (microkeratome) and excimer lasers that are not guided by wavefront analysis.

$2,341 for wavefront-guided LASIK using IntraLase.

That's pretty expensive. :o I'll not be doing that anytime soon I can tell you!
I know some, who could afford it, and they said it wasn't a bad experience...

It's a Greek island. Very popular with British tourists as the weather is so nice over there! Had such a great time; spent all day lounging around most days and then at night we went into the town until the early hours! Had very little sleep but I'm catching up now. ^_^

Ooh, that sounds like a lot of fun. B) Greece sounds awesome. I want to visit Scandinavia though. I think that would be great. :D

My summer was really great at first, and now it sucks. I've got a terrible summer cold, I'm taking summer classes, which are easy but still, I'm sick of school, and my family is a mess. Poop.

My new eye doctor is hot. :naughty: He's probably no older than his mid 30s. Too bad he's married, I had to stop myself from making a flirty comment. :P :heehee:

ROFLMAO!!!

Your vacation sounds nice, David. Very relaxing.

Colds in the summer shouldn't even exist! That's crazy stuff. :P

About the flirting...I just don't quit, do I..

I'll bet he has Irish ancestry, and that's why you like him. :naughty:

I know. If I were President, I'd outlaw summer colds. :arrr:

Man, I'm so sick of this Presidential race. All it is is Hilary/Obama/Hilary/Obama on the news, in the papers, everywhere! Thank goodness Hilary dropped out, I don't know how much more of it I could have stood.

Actually though, I could maybe tolerate Hilary better than Obama. And McCain can't even be considered a conservative, which is how I vote. So I've got nobody good to vote for in my first time voting for a President! I wish Huckabee had won. He was the former governor of Arkansas, which is my state! :cheer:

What are you all's political views? :D

I wanted Hilary to win, was a shame Obama pipped her... couldn't care less though in the grand scheme of things. McCain looks like another Bush and Obama's just blaaaand.
