:o Good idea!

Alisha should sing 1 Thing by Amerie, that was from Hitch wasn't it?

Thats actually a good idea. :o

Or Alicia Keys - Fallin'

Dannii's latest blog entry, from the X Factor site:

Cooooooeeeeeeeee!

As Elton John sings….’Can You Feel The Love Tonight?’ Hell yeah!

The biggest singing competition is on! This week The X Factor didn’t disappoint with songs, drama and lots of sparkle. Simon’s teeth were gleaming whiter than white, Dermot looked dashing in his suit and we got to see all the contestants get The X Factor make over!!! (The transformation was so dramatic, I could watch another whole show of that too!)

Team Minogue was in full force and the Team Captain, ‘moi’, is very happy that you all voted to keep my boys, Andy, Leon and Rhydian in the race.

Andy is definitely bringing sexy back – crooning us with his dulcet tones and hypnotising us with his Doe eyes – the whole country is in love! Did I mention that he can dance just as well? Just wait till you see what is coming next…….

Leon had a shaky start. He picked the Michael Bublé version of the Beatles song, Can’t Buy Me Love. Leon loves jazz and we wanted him to do something very musical. The song changes rhythm a few times throughout the track, and I think that when the audience clapped along to the beat, it may have thrown him off when the tempo changed! He hit a few bum notes but when he was on it we were all in rapture. Thanks for all getting behind him and voting (I’m sure lots of friends from back home in Scotland were phoning). We must kept him in the competition because he has a true, raw talent.

Rhydian…..aka ‘Mr. Marmite’ (you love him or hate him!) gave the performance of the night! I Would Do Anything For Love stole the show. We saw that his vocals and performance level are up there with the greats and I think we all got to know the kind gentleman that Rhydian is off stage. If you don’t love him yet…..you will soon! Even Mr Simon Cowell thinks he is the real deal.

It was great to meet the boys’ families backstage and share the celebration of Week One for Team Minogue!!! Good news…….I can guarantee, there are no stage Mumzillas or Dadzillas amongst them.

Louis really raised his game last night, showing that he was no push over, and even had a go at Simon about Same Difference. Sharon was feeling toppled over when two of her acts were in the bottom two……and walked off the set. It’s a hugely emotional time as all the contestants we mentor become like family to us.

I was sad to see Kimberley go. Although I didn’t put her through in her first audition, I think she has a lot to offer. I would love to have seen her looking more like herself and less ‘made over’ – as she is so young and bubbly. Kimberley……we love you girl!

A big hand to Dishy Dermot for putting everyone through their paces and keeping the whole thing on track – not even the Rugby could come in the way of us doing our thing.

Thanks for making my birthday so special – I got cake, the audience sang happy birthday to me and, on Xtra Factor, they had footage of all my mates which was a total surprise and had me welling up.

See you next Saturday for round two.

Love and Kisses

Dannii x

Love love love asbestos boy apart from the sleepy eyes!! And so glad Kimberley left cos she looked awfully scary with her hair I hope it's a wash out dye!!! <_<
AWH! That was a nice entry ^_^ I wanted Alisha to sing Lady Marmalade, i think that would be good. But i bet Simon will pick that for Hope.
Niki  definitely my favourite atm! her performance was amazing  absolutely love her voice...
Does anyone know what everyone is going to sing on Saturday?

Yep!

Same Differance are singing Breaking Free! :o :yahoo:

Quite good selections. Niki will do My Heart Will Go On wicked.

The only one's I'm really worried about are Andy & Hope this week.

Leon is singing Home- What a surprise.

I really like Hope's :o

Emily's could go either way though

I like Lady Marmalade, I just dont know if Hope will be able to pull it off.

well there certainly aint no stars in that crummy line-up.

The whole show is ghastly, I think.... you've got the duller of the Minogue's (and that's a tough call) sitting with a Botox-frozen face on a TALENT SHOW JUDGING PANEL (the irony surely can't be lost on her), Louis Walsh salivating and checking out the 'talent' (what interest could he possibly have in eeeek... OVER 25s? ), the man who 'created' Robson and Jerome reading his 'comments' from a pre-prepared script, regardless of how good the act is and a woman who's famous for a fly-on-the-wall reality show and for being married to a has-been old rocker (oh and she managed Smashing Pumpkins.... and was sacked) who wouldn't know a tune if it smacked her round the kisser with a housebrick (I mean, what mother with an ear for music would allow Kelly Osborne into a recording studio?).

The entrants this year are, to put it mildly, p*** poor. Of course, it's engineered for one of the 2 'groups' to win.... apparently Girls Aloud are splitting sometime this year, so it'll probably be that bunch of slutty old harpies without a note between them who'll 'win' the public vote (is anyone still daft enough to ever ring these things up these days?). 'Umbrella' was gut-churning enough with the other bird wailing it, it's excruciating done by the Butlins bitches.

You've got the brother/sister combo who look like they've spent every minute of their entire lives watching Grease and who make the MacDonald Brothers sound like the Walker Brothers, the Welsh goon who looks like he's been sent in a Tardis from Sigue Sigue Sputnik era 1980s and enough sob stories to keep the Pride of Britain awards in business til the next millennium.

There's literally only one good 'un among 'em... the girl who sang/slaughtered 'Nothing Compares 2U'. But if I hear about her father's death once more, I think I'll have to go seek her mother out to give her a matching pair and a place in the finals.

I think Saturdays are better spent watching the humiliation of Letitia Dean clomping round the dancefloor like she's got a club foot on BBC1 myself. Whenever I watch her, I can't help but think of Holiday On The Buses where they're at the holiday camp learning ballroom dancing with Arthur Mullard.

You sadly are following the often-seen media misjustice which is the opinion that Dannii is rubbish just because Kylie is more successful -_- I honestly do not know how you can say somebody who's had 10 UK Top 10 singles (including 5 in the past 5 years) could be any better suited to a job than that of X Factor judge! I can find you plenty of live performances on youtube, too, where she not only successfully carries a tune but also put's in a performance, so your silly opinion is really based on nothing. Oh, and she's not had botox for years, which is very apparent because she can pull facial expressions as well as the next person.

Yep!
