Goodrem's new album was released yesterday. Photo: David Anderson Advertisement EMERGING from a dark pool, Delta Goodrem looks like a woman reborn. The pop superstar was filming her new video clip before the release of her much-anticipated third album, Delta, which arrived in record stores yesterday. The video clip, one of the most expensive made in Australia in the past five years, was filmed in a Sydney warehouse. It was created for Goodrem's next single, Believe Again, which will be released late next month. Locals may not have realised that inside the plain red brick building, the star was morphing into a range of mystical characters — including a water nymph, a crystal-covered mystic and a flying goddess, swathed in navy satin. Goodrem's long-term boyfriend, Irish singer Brian McFadden, was on set to watch the video clip being made. The sultry video shoot, which took place over two days, also involved Goodrem hanging mid-air from a harness — the first time she has tried mid-air acrobatics as part of a video sequence. "It's not meant to look like hard work, but it has been a bit uncomfortable," said Goodrem, laughing. "There's flames and water — it's a real fantasy sequence, but it's quite dark. It's not going to be a bright-looking clip." At 22, Goodrem is on the comeback trail with Delta, after a muted reaction to her second album, Mistaken Identity, three years ago, which was released soon after she went into remission from cancer. The first single off her new album debuted at No.1 earlier this month, signalling an exciting return for the pop star. As one of Australia's most successful ARIA award winners, Goodrem has beaten off a number of personal highs and lows — including the separation of her parents — to return to the top of the charts. She will now wait a week to see whether her album will land at the No.1 spot. "I never, ever take anything for granted. I don't expect anything, but I hope people will go out and enjoy it," she said. http://www.theage.com.au/ffximage/2007/10/20/svDELTA_narrowweb__300x540,0.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d52/christina_ks2/2007-10-21-1128-09.jpg Sounds and looks amazing! Edited October 21, 200717 yr by visualisedelta
