October 26, 200717 yr I think she released the right songs in the right order. She should've stopped after Say It Right though- six singles is too many.
October 27, 200717 yr I think she made the right decisions up until Say It Right How so? It did brilliantly for her and is generally hailed as her best song. :o 1. Maneater (as it was a storming comeback and got her first #1). 2. Promiscuous (even if I dislike it, it was the right release and did well for her) 3. Say It Right (her best song ever and should have been third) 4. All Good Things (Come To An End) 5. Do It (if a 5th single was required)
October 29, 200717 yr 01. Maneater 02. Promiscuous 03. Say It Right 04. All Good Things Come To An End 05. Do It
October 29, 200717 yr For the US.... Promiscuous Maneater Say It Right Do It All Good Things is an awesome song, one of my favorites by her but it was not a good choice for the US. I think 4 singles is good enough. Promiscuous was a good lead single cuz it got people back into her and was very commercial for the US, and Maneater carried that vibe, had Do It followed Say It Right it may have had more sucess. October 29, 200717 yr I think tbh she should have avoided her electro songs altogether, they're not poppy enough and generally not commercial at all imo. Her single choices could have been structured FAR better across the pond for sure but here I think Polydor were pretty much spot on UK;; "Maneater" > "Promiscious" > "All Good Things" > "Say It Right" > "Afraid" USA;; "Promiscuous" > "Say It Right" > "Maneater" > ""Afraid" > "Runaway" Last single as "Runaway" in the US to coincide with the/a re-release of "Loose", I think it would have worked well with the oppurtunity to re-release "Runaway" as a single here 5th to finish off. ^_^
