I think Robbie will do it next week, he's only just released the download and hasn't wasted tons of download sales like Scissor Sisters have.

I can only hope

Rudebox will be top 10 before long, most probably top 5 too

Jamelia is no.12 already so that's a couple released on Monday that look like they'll be big hits

Whats with Janet & Nelly dropping so fast :o

Come On Robbie

Praying he can get at least top 5, if not bette, after the physical release next week. Its gonna be a longggggg week for us

I would love this song to be a huge hit for him....besides the fact that I really love the song I want to shut that Witch Newton up. Her giving the album a great review doesn't make up for the "worst song in history" debarcle

Of course it's going to be top 5. U2, Morrissey, Madonna, Pet Shop boys, Depeche Mode, Oasis, Robbie Williams.

All of those acts are, to some extent, a "fanbase" act, some more than others. And all of them have a strong, loyal fanbase which will buy their singles. And none of their lead singles ever miss the top 5 really apart from Depeche Mode and PSB, and they usually always get top 10!

Well I hope you are right. It's just that so many people seem to not like the song...both fans and non- fans. It just makes me nervous  .

Yea, nervous here also. While the song has grown on me, how many people what to buy an advert for footwear, condoms and cheap imported clothing?

Well I suppose it makes a change from all the phone ad music videos.

Friday's (brief) update

Robbie #11, P!nk #12, Lemar #14, Muse #18, Supafly Inc. #25, Basement Jaxx #34, Sandi Thom #38.

Robbie reallys should have broken into Top10 by now.

#11 is still enough to chart Top 25 on downloads only though isn't it?

#11 is still enough to chart Top 25 on downloads only though isn't it?

It depends. I-Tunes is easily the biggest legal download site from the last figures I saw (in the Financial Times of all places) it was responsible for 37.8% of weekly downloads, so it depends how Robbie is doing on other download sites such as 7Digital, etc.

Still today Robbie admitted in an interview with Johnny Vaughan on Capitol Radio that the album is not going to be released in America. I.E. His US Record label have "passed" on it, so that does not bode well for the rest of the album does it?

I really like "RudeBox" but an awful lot of people do not, so I am fearing a one week in the Top10 for the title track of his next album. :o
