Posted October 23, 200717 yr Have a watch of this, its interesting <_< She had such a massive voice when she was young and could really belt some notes, even at the start of her career and first two albums she could still sing very well, I wonder what happened and why she sings the way she does now? Do you think she tries to hard and sounds really forced as a lot of you know, or do you reckon she damaged her voice early on and isn't able to sing like she used to? ZyXXlvJZhW8

I agree! don't get me wrong, I love her voice no matter what, its very distinctive and no one else sings like her :wub: but in the old days, CHRIST :o she defo could give xtina a run for her money! October 23, 200717 yr I agree, I loved her voice on the Baby One More Time album. It was distinct yet she sounded like she could belt it out when she needed to!
October 23, 200717 yr Whilst I love her voice as a kid/teenager, I think there are so many female singers out there who can do huge vocals - Mariah, Whitney, Leona etc etc - no-one else has a voice like Britney's ;)

I was watching something on tv and it was people auditioning singing HMBONT, and everyone was like, "They couldn't sing like Britney, Britney dosn't even sing like that anymore" etc. because they where trying to copy her voice style. :lol:

October 23, 200717 yr I hadn't really noticed the difference in her voice tbh. I assumed she'd started singing differently to adapt to today's market, which is less pop and more hip-hop (therefore, less actual singing required).
