Posted October 24, 200717 yr After a sold-out Sydney show Auckland fans have their first chance to see Joss Stone performing live in concert! Following the sell out success of her very first Australian show at the Enmore Theatre last April, plus a stunning performance at the East Coast Blues & Roots Festival, Joss Stone is back to charm and seduce new audiences with her multitude of talents. The soul singer will perform one intimate show only in New Zealand, at Auckland's ASB Theatre on December 2. Shortly after the release of her 3rd album Introducing Joss Stone, Stone performed a one-off show to fans who'd been waiting 4 years to see and hear her incredible vocal and musical talents. At tender age of 14 year Joss Stone was catapulted into the public eye with the release of 2003 debut album The Soul Sessions. Her distinctly personal covers of lesser-known soul classics were met with commercial and critical applause. Short-listed for the Mercury Music Prize, the album hit the top 10 in the UK and Australia. Stone's 2004 sophomore album, Mind, Body & Soul featuring the hit single 'You Had Me' garnered further acclaim and earned multiple Grammy Awards nominations. In 2005 Stone won 2 prestigious BRIT Awards including British Female Solo Artist, however it wasn't until this year that she won her first Grammy - Best R&B Performance By A Duo or Group - for her Family Affair collaboration with John Legend and Van Hunt. In March of this year the 19 year old Joss Stone released her third album Introducing Joss Stone featuring the lead single Tell Me Bout it and Tell Me What We're Gonna Do Now featuring rapper Common. Tickets for Joss Stone's Auckland show go on sale Monday 29 October. Thanks to Yahoo! Xtra Entertainment
