Britney Spears has agreed to make an appearance on children's TV show Sesame Street in an attempt to improve her image, according to reports.

 

The troubled singer, who faces losing complete custody of sons two-year-old Sean Preston and one-year-old Jayden James, has been portrayed in a bad light with her recent struggles with the police and because of her stint in rehab.

 

Spears will perform a dumbed-down version of her hit single 'Toxic', with some of the words being changed when she sings a duet with dustbin puppet Oscar the Grouch.

 

Representatives for the star hope the appearance will improve her portrayal in the eyes of the public
