Excellent news if it's true, they've been too selective and up their own arses for years.

As much as I disagree with a lot of their opinions I'm relieved, it's an interesting read and I get a lot of posters from there too.

 

I agree - I thought that Radio 1 Established 1967 was better than a three.

Did they give that a 3? I've suddenly rediscovered respect for the NME. If you convert stars to a percentage, then that suggests that 30% of the Radio 1 album was good i.e. 12 songs. I think the album would be pushed to even find that many good songs.

think that could be a good way of reviewing things. think only uncut does that with a few albums. think some reviews add stars to back up their pretensions and to make it look like they are so cool.
