The first part of the tenth poll is over.

News and news:

1. Improvement!

Yay! RR10a had more voters, 32 in total! I'm happy to see more votes again. Let's keep it up.

2. System question.

I'm not sure which system works better. My original system does work, but I think the reason why it declined was because the system got too old. On the other hand, the new system also works, but I did it because RR9 had almost no one voting. So, I will create an extra poll to decide which system I should do from RR11 to RR20 (The final Round Robin).

The choices are:

System A - The original system, where 10 songs are competing in one poll, the Top 5 stays and the bottom 5 gets eliminated.

System B - The system used in RR10a (but made further for future Round Robins), where 10 songs are divided into 2 groups of 5. Afterwards, the 10 songs will merge, then, the placings from 1st to 10th will be decided by the number of votes from that poll. Top 5 stays and the bottom 5 gets eliminated. The only difference is that you can vote for two songs (one from each group). The points system will be the same as the original.

System C - The system used in RR10a (but made further for future Round Robins), where 10 songs are divided into 2 groups of 5. The Top 2 songs from each group will be safe and the rest will be eliminated. Then, the two safe songs from each group will merge to make the Top 4 chart (1st will get 5 pts, 2nd: 4 pts, 3rd: 3 pts, 4th: 2 pts). When a song gets retired (for being in the Top 2 from either group five times), the third place from either group (whichever song has the most votes) will take over as a replacement. The points system will also be the same as the original, just that there is no fifth place. Which means, there will be six new songs each time, and four songs in total (Top 2 from each group) will be safe.

For this Round Robin, I will do the original system. The system which gets the majority number of votes will be used from RR11 to RR20.

So, here are the official results (Purple denotes being safe, Red denotes being eliminated):

Note: Because RR10a was a repeat poll from RR9 (due to insufficent votes from RR9), the four songs which are safe will be awarded three points each (as I have also said in RR10a), regardless of the placings. Also, the placings will not take into account for RR10a, but WILL be taken into account from this Round Robin (RR10b) and onwards.

Gimme more, system A, and Dont give it up made it because it pisses over every other song on here !
The Ian Brown record obviously. It had something to say and wasn't just diluted pop for maximum radio exposure like some of that list...the ones that coincidentally are leading....tsk.
