Posted October 26, 200717 yr ...with his private life sadly overtaking his career, it's easy to forget that since Culture Club, Boy George has produced some truly fantastic music. His More Protein label in the early 90s spawned some of the most groundbreaking and original dance music of that era, Jesus Loves You gave Massive Attack their first ever remix duties and released one of the best singles of the 90s, Generations of Love, and his numerous solo albums have all included some pretty fabulous stuff. His new project, The Twin, continues to release web-only classic electro dance stuff and it looks like maybe his demons are behind him and he's concentrating on what he's known for again - his music. Of course, radio will ignore anything by someone so associated with the 80s..... and they ignored this glam-rock stormer of a single from 1995 - Funtime. I think it's fabulous - have a peep... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djUN6RMAMJ8
October 26, 200717 yr I definitely remember hearing "Funtime" on Radio 1. I think it was on the B-list or something. By the way, it's a cover of an Iggy Pop song.

October 26, 200717 yr That wasn't the Boy George version tho was it? The Hunger was 1982. Notable also for that ultra goth classic Bela Lugosi's Dead soundtracking the beginning of the film. Edited October 26, 200717 yr by grebo69
October 26, 200717 yr Author it was the original version in the movie... Iggy/Bowie. And, for once, this is a cover where the remake is actually much better.
