November 7, 200717 yr Author Hello everyone. The last message I posted was official. Thank you for allowing me to post, and to share it with you. On a more personal note, I believe that almost everything we do in life is underscored by the music that we listen to, I listen to a variety of artist, yet I rather fond of Yanni's as it has underscored my life for the past 19 years. I liked a comment I read of Yanni's in an interview. He spoke of music playing it's role in reversing some of what seperates us as a humanity today. I believe that's very true in the sense that music is a universal language, and more importantly it is a common bond between us as a humanity. We need all the commonality we can get. That's one of the reason I'm excited about the new direction Yanni is taking with his new professional partner, Ric. They have been allowing us 'sneek peeks' on Yani's official website into the creative process ,(a first for Yanni) and into the new music. Because the music is a collaboration effort , and because of the vocalist component, to it, I'm expecting this to have an new and wide range of variety and appeal. I sincerely hope you get an opportunity to give it a listen! Again, thanks for allowing me to share with you, all. Di Edited November 7, 200717 yr by LifeinthekeyofD
November 15, 200717 yr I'm new to this forum and came here looking for discussions about Yanni and..........was also looking for Bruce Springsteen. Seemed to have trouble finding Bruce but here you are with a post about Yanni. :cheer: I've been a Yanni fan for many years and checked out his new website........woooo hoooo, I can't wait to see what they cook up next. I see they're adding opera quality voice to some of the old, and much ot the new yet to be released, but what I'm most excited about is hearing voice added to some of his best pieces from Live At The Acropolis....the thought gives me goose-a-bumps. :yahoo: I see great success in the future for this new combo and can't wait to see what they've done.......the anticipation is palpable.
January 26, 200817 yr Author Yanni and Ric Wake have, now, introduced the 4 talented young artists who, in the spirit of musical evolution, are lending lyrics and voice to Yanni's music. Nathan Pacheo, Leslie Mills, Ender Thomas, and Chloe have watermarked Yanni's instrumental music beautifully, and diversely, with pop, opera, jazz, and latin influences. A little something for everyone! There's new video at Yanni's official website that serves as a wonderful introduction to this talented group of young, new, artists. It's an amazing listen!
